I like the connectivity of the location as the metro station is just next to the hotel. There are lots of convenience stores in the vicinity as well. I love the fact that it is 1 stop away from the famous Omotesando Hills district.

Read the policies well before booking. They are over charging for kids. We payed 600$ per night and then another 150$ per child. Also, extremely slow service, and limited interest in accommodating basic requests (early check in).

A pair of ladies high heels was found inside the closet wishes strange and frightening. the concierge said the housekeeper forgot to remove it which is unacceptable and even worse. And how can I trust their cleanliness ?

Nice hotel
Nice hotel, clean and good condition. Convenient location next to train station. Queen bed for 2 adults and 7 year old was a squeeze, not sure why we couldn't get a room with sofa or extra bed. Main entrance was on 1st floor and reception was in 2nd. Also pool was only for adults so we didn't get to utilise it.

Regarding a bed in your room which you mentioned, for your information, an extra bed is prepared only for adult not for children under 11 years old although it depends on room type. It follows that the extra bed would not be put unless you register as adult when you book. Some of our rooms, “Classical Double Room” and “Modern Double Room” cannot accommodate an extra bed. Moreover, we are afraid to tell you that the entry for child is limited because of the regulation of fitness area. Those who are under 18 years old cannot utilize even if their parents accompany them. We are very sorry to cause you such inconvenience We will constantly strive to improve the quality of service and maintain high standards so that we could meet and exceed your expectations. Hotel was ok but not like the pictures, much less modern- probably they do not give good rooms to Orbitz customers. Location is central if you want to explore more of the neighborhoods of Tokyo, very clean, helpful staff, and great spa/bathroom amenities

Front desk receptionist Dean was excellent and professional. Room itself was very nice but expensive and had zero view. Wifi was exceptionally poor and we had to sit next to the entrance door to receive an intermittent signal. They stubbornly refused to provide more than two small bottles of water per room despite me registering and paying for three guests. No room service. No breakfast available whether paid or unpaid. The only two restaurants in the hotel building seemed to be separately run and not connected with the operation of the hotel-they seemed to only be open for lunch and dinner and closed rather early at 2100. Very annoying was that the gym-one of the main reasons I chose the hotel-did not allow under 16 yrs of age. This was not made known to me beforehand. Not good.

Wonderful find in Gaienmae!
We had an amazing time here! As a former Tokyo resident, I was shocked at how large the rooms were - we were in a junior suite and had room for my two very active boys to play with all their new Pokemon toys while my husband and I were able to relax and not feel like we were on top of each other. Breakfast is perhaps the best deal in Tokyo and was a great way to start our days - I recommend buying the coupons in advance! Staff was marvelous and location was perfect - quiet, but within walking distance to omotesando and other parts of Aoyama and literally on top of Gaienmae so we could take the subway easily to wherever we wanted to go. Perfect for our needs - we will be back!

The reception area smelt amazing, the staff were friendly & accommodating. The room a good size, with a comfortable bed & wonderful Bathroom especially the Toto toilet. The pool is huge & the gym has everything you need.

Location great, housekeeping and staff ordinary.
The entrance is through an office building and the lobby is on the second floor but pretty unappealing. Check in process was fine but the English wasn't great and they weren't overly accommodating. The room had an enormous California King bed and a lot of space, the location is perfect! Two stops to Shibuya, right on the train line and close to omota Sando would go again

Amazing Place in an Amazing Area
It's not cheap, but no high quality hotel in Tokyo is. And the Allamanda in Aoyama is as good as it gets. Renovated just two years ago, the entire property is clean and beautiful. Our room, which they call a "double," must mean double king because the bed is enormous and super comfortable. All the furniture is great, and I think it might be the largest most luxurious bath-suite I've ever seen. Staff is superb and the 8th floor bar hits the spot with a pretty decent view. The only downside of the entire hotel is that the pool and spa are only open until 9:00 PM. We were too busy running around the city to get back in time, and would have been nice to have taken advantage of the glass enclosed pool and hot tub after a long day out in Tokyo. There are also yoga and fitness classes - and an indoor driving range if you want to work on your golf swing - all included. The hotel is on top of the Gaienmae station which means Harajuku, Shibuya, Omotesando and Shinjuku are minute away, and it's just steps from shopping, food, nightlife, and Cat Street - one of the coolest areas in town (look it up if you don't know). Simply put, the location could also not be much better. We loved this place.
