Great location to stay in Tokyo. Once we realized that the hotel is directly connected to Shiodome station (don’t even have to go outside), our commute to different areas was a breeze! Mandatory room cleanings every 3 days were nice and hotel was clean overall. We opted out of breakfast buffet since there is a Lawson / 7-11 right near by as well as cafes in the train station for a quick bite. Overall would recommend mostly for the location convenience. Not much to do around the hotel though if that’s what you’re looking for and not planning to commute much.

I will absolutely be staying here again. It was so easy to get around and the hotel itself was gorgeous. Could not ask for a more convenient hotel to get to and from the airport.

Above average. To Shimbashi station is around 10 mins by walk. To those luxury brands in GINZA is around 10-15 mins by walk. one station away. Breakfast quality is good though it’s limited options of foods. Also we had to wait for the breads refilled. It’s unusual in Japan.

The first day after we checked in I open the bathroom door and then I smell something very bad like somebody pooped and didn’t flush the toilet. Then I realized probably the smell came from the sewer system. I called front desk they sent a lady up to check 10 minutes later. She came in checked then she said” I didn’t smell anything. What did you smell?” I told her that I was standing outside by the door I even smell it. Then she began to turn on the sink water and tub water for about 2-3 minutes. I think she knew there is a problem from the sewer system. I’m not very happy because she could tell me where does that smell came from but not denied the fact. After flashing about two to three minutes. She said “now it’s normal no smell “ the she left. At midnight when I woke up I still can smell the bad smell came from the bathroom even the door was closed. Next morning the smell still there I don’t understand why she denies it. It seems she knew there is a problem that is why she played her trick by flashing the water for two to three minutes. I guess the sewer system having problems which is when there’s no water flashing down the smell coming up.She knew the fact but refused to change another room for us. That is why I gave you one stop if I could give zero star I will do it.

Stayed in a renovated room, was good. Perfect location if taking airport limo bus. Walkable distance to Ginza. Happy hour was a good idea. Breakfast was not bad but wouldn’t pay for it. Nice n proactive staff. Will be back.

The Villa Fontaine in Shiodome is the best place I have stayed in Tokyo. Though located in the center of a business hub, the area actually adds to the charm because there are no crowds during the weekend. The Hotel places itself within a business building and fairly close to the JR station and very close to the subway. I've stayed here twice and have been surprised by how spacious the rooms are for a Tokyo hotel. All staff understand English very well and surely know other foreign languages. Of the many places I've stayed in Japan, the Villa Fontaine is at the top of my list as Hotels go.

Super convenient from the subway station and Walking distance from Ginza shopping district. Dining options are limited just around the hotel however if you walk for just about 15 minutes, you are at Shinbashi area and there are so many places to choose from.

An excellent hotel for easy access to the train stations. Plenty to see and explore within a walking distance. Staff was kind, and helpful. Check-In and Check-out process was quick and simple.

Great hotel just off the Shiodome station. No real restaurant at the hotel except for breakfast. Bar is open for 2 hours 5-7pm? And that’s it. Plenty of places close by to eat and drink. The station links you up to most places quickly and easily. Download the Suica travel card to your wallet and it will make the trains easier.

Old but refurbished hotel
This is an old hotel but I’m glad they are reburnishing the rooms. I opted for the newly renovated room and paid slightly more. Was well worth it. The buffet breakfast was tasty and had decent selection. Polite and welcoming staff.

Excellent!! We stayed 2 nights. All staff are very trained and they have professional skill for customer services. The location is excellent too, easy access to most of tourist attractions. Also there’s many dining options around Shimbashi are where is walkable distance.

Hotel is inside a bigger building, very classy, clean and quiet. Check-in was quick and simple. Rooms were on the smaller side which I expected but they were clean, cozy, and efficient. They have snack time at the lobby for a couple of hours in the late afternoon with free snacks and drinks. Train stations, convenient stores, restaurants, and Ginza shopping within a15-min walk and there’s overpasses and underground walk ways, you’re rarely crossing streets. Front desk staff were nice and super helpful. We lost an earring at a shopping store with the help of the Front Desk staff, we were able to find it!
