"Spa and restaurant were both closed the Friday evening that we spent here, which was disappointing. Instead, we visited a couple breweries in the area.

The hotel itself was clean and had a cool forest theme inside. Would recommend for a spa getaway, but not the most ideal accommodation to check out downtown Gothenburg."
"The entrance & lifts looks dirty and dated, but the hotel rooms/reception are acutely 3star standard. Microwave in my room and plenty of food shops and restaurants provide food options. "

"The Pier is in a good location if you like it quiet although getting to the city centre is just across the water. Check in and out was friendly and professional. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had an excellent and varied choice. Although it was very busy with AC/DC in town the staff coped well and still managed to make everything run smoothly. The only advice I would give is to book your car parking (if you require it) as soon as possible. "
"We had a very nice two night stay at the Waterside Cabins. It was impeccably clean, very quiet, well equipped and super comfortable beds! Public transport into Gothenburg and out to the islands was very easy. We hopped about all over the place on buses, trams and ferries and had a really great stay. We would return! Thankyou! "La Mare resort staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The boat house was clean and comfortable and in great condition and the area was peaceful. The resort was however very far away from any public transportation and we had to take an Uber into the city and sights. The Ubers were affordable but the cost did add up."
"We loved this hotel best so far on our 22 day trip around Sweden. Breakfast was awesome, coffee anytime of the day in the lobby and GREAT help at the front desk to show us what to see downtown and how to use the water taxis! Highly recommend!"
