Ideal location 5 min drive from the ancient city staying here is a much better option as opposed to getting bused in from Cancun or Tulum. You are able to wake early and beat the crowds who arrive around 10am. The included breakfast was also fantastic made to order eggs and fresh fruit. The actual property is secure, rooms were clean, parking was easy. The staff was extremely helpful in setting up a personal tour with a licensed guide. We had a private tour which included transportation ( to and from the hotel lobby), entry fee, plus the tour at a very reasonable price. Our guide was a local Mayan who didn’t just rush us along. But instead took the time to educate us and took his time explaining the entire site. Not just El Castillo. Highly recommend the hotel, and private tour."
