"We arrived at the hotel and were offered an upgrade (which I think is often the case) by Penelope who was very welcoming and provided a great first impression. We found the price of the upgrade fair compared to the room prices online so went ahead with it. The room itself had a private pool and sea view which was brilliant and we ended up hardly leaving the room in the daytime. We often ordered room service which came with an €8 tray charge but this was clearly stated and mentioned to us by staff each time before we ordered to confirm we were happy. In terms of the food, it was a great standard and we ended up sharing one dish most days as the portion sizes were very generous which was great. Breakfast also had everything you need and was done to good standard. All in all, it is a fantastic hotel which we will recommend to friends and family. The prices for private pool rooms are of course high online but the option to have the possibility of an upgrade on arrival for a very reasonable price is a great option IMO."
