We had an excellent stay. This was a birthday present trip for our 80 year old mother. The view is amazing, we spent hours just enjoying the river and all the animals around and in it! A spectacular place to stay, I really want to visit again.

We plan to return!
We had a wonderful get away! Our goal was to be more present as a family and do some nature things. This cabin was in the perfect place to do this! Nearby hikes, great waterfront to fish and search for cool rocks (something our son loves to do). We definitely plan to be back!

River Retreat

Cozy cabin!
Property was simply beautiful. Right on the river with the coziness of a fire, and the peaceful sound of the river all within 30 feet! Relaxation at its finest. Stayed here for a few days with friends and had a great time! Vince, the property owner, was very responsive to all of my questions both before and during our stay. Highly recommend for those looking to rest, relax and enjoy mother nature!

Two day getaway
Great location. Right on the water. Just wanted to get away for a couple of days & enjoy the national forest. This was close & made for nice evening beside the fire. Watched a couple of bald eagles in the morning on the island across from the cabin. Place was as described. Would stay again

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. Incredibly clean and well stocked with towels, linens, cooking utensils, etc. The living room is so cozy, with a wonderful view of the river. We spent most of our time there out on the spacious deck and by the firepit. Enjoyed watching the occasional kayakers and fishing boats. Really enjoyed watching the herons, ducks, and bald eagles! A perfect place for a getaway. Owner sent messages very quickly, with all necessary information included. Highly recommend this lodge!

Great riverfront cabin
We love the northern part of the Allegheny River. This cabin is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the Allegheny away from the city. Fishing and swimming was a blast. Cabin was perfectly clean with amenities available. Fire pit right against the river was relaxing at night. Oh and the kayaking was really nice. We saw a bald eagle while several times while there.

Quiet family time
This lodge was everything we needed. Cute cabin right on the river with a babbling stream. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for any meal you could plan. The sunroom overlooks the river, close enough to hear the river and watch the birds. But for me, the best part was sitting on the deck relaxing watching the ducks and herons fishing. Truly a fabulous spot to unwind and not stress about life.

Nice little slice of heaven
Stay was amazing, spot was great. We decided the first night that we wanted to extend our stay and reached out to the owner. Without hesitation they helped us because I was unable to figure how to do it through the VRBO app. House was very clean and well cared for. We had a campfire every night while we stayed there. Literally nothing more peaceful than having a campfire listening to music and the sweet sound of the river. We can't wait to book this cabin again next summer! Our 8 year old had a blast walking through the river finding crawfish and building a rock spa.

We had agreat time!! The cabin was nice and in a great location!! We went riding in Allegheny National forest during the day and fished on the bank of the river in front of the cabin at night!! It quiet and perfect for our family!!

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view!!! Home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching deer cross the river in the morning. Wish there was more distance to the main road, other than that the stay was peaceful and quiet.

The location of this cabin could not be better. Didn't catch any fish from the property, but then, we did a 10 mile canoe trip and only caught 2 all day. Beautiful view!!!

A true gem!

If you need to touch grass and unwind, this is the place
Beautiful set-up. The hills were turning fall colors and the river was running. Sat on the deck and just watched and listened to the river run. A Heron was our companion for the weekend - got to see him a lot. Although we didn't use it, there's a really nice firepit closer to the water. Charcoal grill also and a propane grill near the deck. Everything you need. Inside has a cozy hunting lodge feel with comfortable couches and beds to stretch out on. All appliance you need are there. Very clean, very relaxing. Can't say enough about this place. Hope to return soon.

Beautiful cabin on the Allegheny River!
The cabin was so clean, and had everything we needed! It's in a gorgeous area along the Allegheny River- so quiet and peaceful! Spent every night by the firepit and every day watching birds, squirrels, ducks, geese and an eagle pair flying along the river. Visited nearby Warren, the Kinzua Dam and Tidioute. Can't wait to stay here again!

AMAZING!!!!
I have been going to my families camp in Tionesta since I was a baby! Tidioute is about 20 minutes away from there. I have always wanted to stay in a cabin on the river! Well, my dream came true when I found this amazing cabin rental!!! It was super clean inside and felt very welcoming. The view from the living room was just incredible I could sit there all day and watch the river and all the wildlife! I highly recommend renting this cabin you will not be disappointed!!!! Stayed for one night with my son on his spring break traveling back home. It ended up being more of a winter break due to weather but this place was great. We both wished we had stayed longer and can't wait to come back. Very cozy and has everything you could need. Amazing view on the river, couldn't have been happier.

Stunning view, cozy and clean.
This cabin is in beautiful condition, well maintained, spotless. It is right on the Allegheny River--one can hear the water from the house. This is a perfect location for any season.
