I liked the people who served me and took care of my needs. I appreciated the bathroom cleanliness, the comfortable room and lounge When I return I will try the pool
Highly Recommended for a Short Stay!I would absolutely come back and stay here again. It is a really good choice for a passing traveller who needs a place for a night or two. I was very satisfied with everything, including the clean room, helpful staff, easy parking, and the great breakfast.
Budget hotel with budget expectations, beds were firm pillows were bad. Breakfast was awful, location is good parking is easy and the staff are super helpful. Not a great stay not a bad stay just what you expected for the price and works for 1 night if you are passing through.

The front desk people were nice and helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety of food.
You could hear people above you stomping around. You had to ask for ice because there was no ice machine accessible. The pool was cold.
Rooms need upgrading and new decor.
The staff are good and polite , but the property is poor maintenance, the carpet in the room is dirt and sticky like it never been vacuumed , the bed are bad , uneven surfaces, the window is cracked, the toilet is really old 🙂↕️, I understand if the property is old but it needs good maintenance. I won’t recommend this property to my friends or who ever needs to stay in Thunder Bay.
We found all places in Thunder Bay extremely overpriced. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the place is very dated and run down. We weren’t looking for anything fancy, just a decent place to rest after a 12 hour drive. If the rate was 1/2 the price we would say it was to be expected but not when paying close to $300!

We stayed one night here. There is mould in the bathroom but other than that the room was fairly clean. The air conditioning worked well to keep us comfortable. The tv channel selection is horrible.
We went to the pool there were no clean towels. We asked for clean towels and none were provided. Even the next morning the pool area had not been cleaned as the same dirty towels were laying on the floor and no clean towels in sight.
Not sure if we would stay again.

Basic hotel, good for a sleep.
Breakfast was fantastic. Kudo’s to the two student staff. Very helpful and accommodating.
The room was in excellent condition i didnt use the hit tub but i would totally recommend you hotel to any ofvmy many friend thank you definitely one of two happiest people thanknyou again
The sink was plugged. The desk clerk came but did not try to fix it. The curtains only covered two-thirds of the windows. The refrigerator was not plugged in, so we had to move the large credenza and squeeze behind to plug it in. No chair for the desk. The breakfast was ok. The breakfast attendant was good

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nice. The coffee at breakfast was excellent, I was surprised it was Folgers. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the property is older and shows its age. However the price was right and the good parts outweighed that. Note that the walls seemed on the thin side so if the hotel is busy it might be noisy. It was quiet for me, and pleasant.
Pool closed, very dated, black mold in the shower grout, outside doors not working for key cards, 3 pillows on a kingsize bed, not feeling overly safe with room doors that had clearly been kicked in.
The room is too old, need to be renovated. The water was not drained properly, we did not want to take shower in the tub as it looked dirty. Only the breakfast area was warm and nicer compare to the room area.

Room was great and it was clean. But there were no coffee cups supplies with the coffee maker in the room.
When I went to the front desk to ask for some, the staff pointed me to another coffee area to get cups. There were none there either and there were no creamers. The staff was not prepared for the morning customers.
Other than that it was a nice place and I would recommend it.
Would have liked to have mentioned room issues to the staff but they stood chatting feet from the front desk and never did acknowledge me when I was attempting to check out. Toilet leaked, bathtub taps leaked and the tub liner was not securely attached nor sealed. Turned toilet water off to prevent it from loudly refilling every 5 mins all night long. Hairs in bathtub when I checked in. Bed was quite firm but new. Could use more blankets as the heater was loud turning on and off all night. Fridge froze all my items.
Upon entry, I had to kick needles out of the way before my 4 year old picked them up. There were blood soaked rags laying about, cans of pop and random debris. There was a woman who pulled up in a taxi and was drunk and spitting as she was exiting. The place felt dark and didn’t feel inviting. The staff member at the front was not at all enthusiastic. We went to bed at 8pm and by 9pm a group was situated next door and they were loud and drinking until 2:45am. I called down to the desk to ask if they could tell them to turn it down… I was advised they would call the room.. nothing changed.
There was limited hot water… the breakfast was well put together and the staff member was pleasant and had a great vibe.
I would not recommend or be returning to this location.
