"The property needs some TLC for sure but our cabin was very clean, towels fluffy and spotless, bedding crisp and clean. Front and back windows provided great cross ventilation and the rain on the metal roof was fun!
The motel is easy walking distance (1-2k based on where you’re going) to several restaurants and approx 3k from the start of the Thousand Island (bike) Trail.
The owners were friendly and responsive. And, the price is right! "
"This place is like a step back in time that's been updated with new floors, comfortable-enough mattresses, and new bathroom upgrades as well. It's a drive-up to your room with a parking spot right out front. The slanted roofs serve up great high ceilings inside your room making it feel really spacious and cabin-like. AC was on when we arrived which was great. Sid checked us in and out, he was wonderful ! This place was a pit stop along a long drive/destination and worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay here again."
"Stayed in the Peninsula Room. Small, but comfortable. Shower was downstairs, but that was fine. Great location, easy walk to waterfront and downtown. Beautiful old home with a very comfortable sitting room to read. Majestic Great Dane was very welcoming. I'll stay again on my next trip to Gananoque. "
