The rooftop common area was a nice touch if you would feel crowded in the room, but the overall space felt very homey. You can also refill your own water bottle. If there is any room for improvement i would suggest a roof garden or pool along with information about the area would have been a great addition to the experience."
"Hotel is extremely upscale and worked for us really well. Rooms were comfortable and amenities were great. Breakfast included so that was a major extra plus. AC didn’t work in our room initially but they gave us a new room so it was okay. Overall good stay"
"We had a wonderful stay at The Lapis Hotel. The room and facilities were immaculately clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had a very early 4:00 AM checkout, and they still prepared breakfast for us to take away, which was a really thoughtful touch. Everything about the experience felt professional and warm. "Everything about this hotel works perfectly. The location, rooms, staff and food are exactly right. The manager, Alex, is happy to "go the extra mile" to make sure that you have what you need and that you're well looked after. His team is friendly, helpful and all seem to be very happy. This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel, and it won't be my last. Location-wise, you are in easy reach of Hoan Kiem lake, good eating places and, if you're feeling brave, the train street.
I just need to say and extra 'thank you' to Alex. I don't think the word 'no' is in his vocabulary and this attitude just takes the stress out of business travel in Hanoi. When a promised delivery failed to arrive, it was Alex who go on the phone to DHL to find out what was happening and then made sure that when it did eventually appear it was sent on to my next hotel in HCMC. Exceptional service.
