Our biggest disappointment in India

Hotel offloaded us to a property two blocks from the beach claiming they had no booking. Then we got accused of having changed our booking until the manager feebly admitted that he made a mistake but refused to do anything about it. He attacked us for asking to be accommodated in his hotel (which is beach front) claiing that he provided us with alternative accommodation and that was it.He even tried to charge us his room rate which was 25% more than what the other property charged. We have spent more than 200 nights in Indian middle of the road hotels over the years but the Florra Inn and his manager was the worst experience ever. complete let-down. We met other people with the same experience and neighbouring business people confirmed that the Florra was well known for its shonky practices and rude manager. Don't book there, save yourself the stress to deal with such an unprofessional hotel manager. There are far better properties around.

Station balnéaire très bien sans voiture ni moto très calme pour un repos parfait en inde n esitez pas à parcourir les toutes petites ruelle de 1 mètre de large qui vous révèle parfois d agréable surprise

séjour très agreable malgré le désagrement à notre arrivée , la chambre ne corespondait pas du tout ni aux photos ni au descriptif mais le personnel très agreable et comprehenssif même si ils nous ont changé pour l'étage ils nous ont remis dans la même chambre !!

Pros: Hotellets läge vid stranden var perfekt och personalen var jättetrevlig. Hotellets massör var i världsklass.
Cons: Städningen kan förbättras.
Beach Florra Inn är ett prisvärt hotell. Läget vid stranden är perfekt och personalen är trevlig och tillmötesgående. Städningen fungerar inte alltid bra och vi som gäster behövde själva be om toalettpapper och annat men allt sådant kompenserades av att personalen var så trevlig och tillmötesgående.

it was patheticexperience 1) reached hotel at 8pm 2) Hotel staff gave non ac room ,room was too small ,no clean no light during that time for 30 mins 3) Called toexpedia helpline .Spoke to Avinash and raisedissues 4) After that they gave AC roombut for that I land up paying rs 2000 and Avinash confirmed tha the money will be beared bythem 5) I wanted to check out on the same day but they were not ready to return 6) no service to hotel ,no intercom in the hotel and room 7) very old TV was placed where hardly some channels .,no colgate and sampoo in bathroom 8) for water they charged extra , 9) Extra bed was bookedbut no space in the room to provide to place the extra bed .Somehow managed to put one small mattress 10) Again called to expedia at 9 pm and he confirmed that expedia had spoketo hotel and they will provide and rectify all the probelm and Expedia will return rs 2000 to me andwhat ever the exra amount I am going to pay .Only I need to provide th bills but expedia never come back .however I maild thrice and called twice but update yet 11 ) third day I had to vaccate the hotel and shiftedin another four star hotel (Classic Avenue ) Hope some one look into the matter and get this resolved .Only request to expedia that they must do personal audit before confirming the hotel .people believe expedia as excellent travel agency and hope the action will be taken . what ever written is the actual gact and informed to expedia the day and time I check i
