It consists of 2 bedrooms each with a king size bed (orthopedic mattresses). FREE WI-FI Travel cot 110x58cm and baby linens is provided. Two A/C units, one in bedroom A and one in the living room. Clean linens and towels are also provided. The kitchen is new and very functional equipped with everything you will need to prepare a snack or even a dinner. Refrigerator, electric stove with oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster, hot water In the bathroom / WC, there is a wash bin, a shower cabin, and a washing machine. You will also find some personal care products and a first aid kit. In the living room there are two sofas and a dining table - working desk. A small desk is also located in Bedroom A in case you need more privacy or you are sharing the apartment with a friend that also has to work. Very centrally located, the neighbourhood is one of the city's most vibrant and busy areas, (the street is quiet though) very popular to all age groups, with lots of cafes, tavernas - restaurants,where you can taste real greek cuisine, one of the many things that Thessaloniki is famous for. You will be amazed of how many people are sitting outside enjoying their coffee or meal. In a close distance 5-10 min you can also find many shops, just in case you want to 'shop till you drop!'. Super market and 24hrs convenient store are close by, 2-5 minutes. Very easy to reach from airport, railway station or port. The AUTh (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and UOM (University of Macedonia), International Trade Fair (HELEXPO) are a minute's walk from the apartment! Thessaloniki is very easy to explore on foot, and you will find everything you might need in a walking distance!!Famous historical monuments that are within 2-10 minutes distance on foot, are: the Palace of Galerius (Navarinou Square), the Arch of Galerius (Kamara), Rotunda, The Roman Market in Aristotelous, the Archeological & the Byzantine Museum, the White Tower, The Ataturk Museum, The MOMUS - Macedonian Museum of Modern Art (in the International Trade Fair premises), Aristoteles Square, City Center of Architecture. Many of the most beautiful Byzantine churches, are also close by. Other places of interest are: The beautiful 'Ano Poli' the Upper Town part of the Old City of Thessaloniki still kept intact, 'Thousand Trees' (Seih Sou Forest), and of course don't miss the chance to take a walk along the commonly known 'Paralia' of Thessaloniki seaside promenade... It was centrally located, with supermarkets, restaurants, historical sites, entertainment venues, and coffee shops all within walking distance, which made my stay very convenient. Additionally, taxis were just two minutes away, making transportation easy. The host was exceptional, providing detailed information upon my arrival and being very supportive with additional facts whenever I required assistance. Cab and bus stops maybe 50 steps out front door. Entire city centre are is walkable from here! ATM just around the corner. Restaurants and shopping everywhere. Coffee shops and 24 hr convenience just steps away. I’m not sure how this location could be improved! We absolutely loved our stay while visiting daughter in nearby college. Highly recommend for 2-4 guests. Building is secure, has a convenient lift for up to three adults. Thanks again. ##### mike k. The aircon is, crucially, very good and there are a couple of balconies so you have access to the open air as well. It was clean, very centrally located and our hosts were quick to respond to questions. There were a lot of cafes and restaurants within very easy walking distance and the walk to the port and the White Tower was an easy 10 minutes. It was a great base from which to discover the city of Thessaloniki and also easy to access transport to places outside of the city. It's walkable to shops, restaurants and sights in the city center and water front. Marianna met us at the apartment and showed all there was to know. The White Tower and Rotunda are within walking distance. Great views from the balconies. Wonderful restaurants nearby. The location was great to walk everywhere we needed to go. Marianna was there to meet us and show us the apartment. It had everything we needed and was surprisingly spacious. I stayed with my husband and two kids for a month here, and we would definitely come back. The home has all the amenities we needed, and the two beds and 2 bedrooms gave us plenty of space. Plus it is decorated like a place someone lives in versus an empty shell that so many vacation homes feel like. We really liked the location and often headed down to the waterfront or to the playground at the rotunda. There are lots of cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. It’s easy to get to and from the airport on the bus which passes directly by the apartment. ##### Kara P. Well above the street level, superclean, airy. Next door to a historic palace of Emperor Galerius, other historic spots, only a few blocks from the waterfront, but far enough to avoid humidity. Convenient for shopping yet screened off the busy streets by a church next door. My wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our host, Marianna, made arrangements for us to be picked up at the airport and had someone meet us at the apartment to show us around and explain all of the appliances, provide maps, answer our questions, etc. It is a well-equipped, clean, warmly decorated place.. In addition, my husband forgot a shirt in the closet, and Marianna went out of her way to return it to him. The bed was super comfortable, and the AC worked fine. This modern apt with all the necessary things is located within walking distance of almost all the artistic treasures of Thessaloniki. In addition practically outside your door there are cafes, bakeries and restaurants galore. We ate 3 totally delicous meals at Lola, a seafood tavern recommended by Mariana, our landlord, only 2 blocks away. From the balcony you overlook a church. There is an elevator to take you to the 7th floor apartment. Mariana will help you arrange airport transfers in advance and is happy to help plan a tour, recommend a shop etc if you ask her before you arrive in Greece.
