It is the only hotel with an indoor pool, but the area was dirty and cluttered. The rooms were fairly clean but the finishings (i.e. tile flooring in bathroom) were poorly installed. Shelves where the safe is located were broken/sagging. The breakfast was ok, but again cleanliness brought concern. The syrup was “glued” to the tray it was sitting on." We arrived around midnight. The host had the deadbolt locked and doesn't live on the property anywhere. The code he provided to get in only unlocked the handle, not the deadbolt. I messaged the host several times, trying to get into the cabin, but got no response. We ended up having to stay in a hotel. VRBO was terrible to work with on this situation. Might be sticking to their competitor now. VRBO wouldn’t even accept or post my review until I took their competitor’s name out of this message." I would have maybe been a little more understanding had I been spoken to kindly, but the woman's tone of voice was nothing but rude over the phone. We needed a place to stop halfway on our 12 hour drive home, but we opted to continue our drive rather than stay at this hotel. Honestly the area was kinda creepy so I'm glad we didn't end up staying.
