Standard rooms were ok needed some updating . We upgraded our room to a more comfortable space . Restauant was poor on food and service . The monkeys all around the facility are a great source of entertainment. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff could do a MUCH better job of providing accurate information. We were given incorrect information of how to obtain tickets for activities which resulted in us going back and forth to the main gate (\~2km) and ended up not being able to do any hikes. It would have been nice if they were able to help arrange whatever activity we wanted to do. Had we been warned that during June the lake is usually so low no boats go out, we probably would not have come since the boat ride to see the animals was the main reason for coming. We really enjoyed the "old charm" feeling of the place. Rooms were very spacious and we had a great balcony. The TV could have been in a better location and the power supply dropped out frequently. Also, no wi-fi in the room. It's the best location if you're going to be visiting the park, which we did in several occasions. The staff were very helpful in arranging all the tickets for us and giving us proper indications to make the most of our stay. The only complaint is that the accommodations, although clean, were quite worn out. THE LOCATION NEAR THE PERRYAR LAKE IS ITS ADVANTAGE. RECEPTION STAFFS ARE GOOD SO ALSO THE RESTAURANT. HOUSE KEEPING IS NOT UP TO THE MARK.
