Heat in bathroom, no heat in room…no thermostat. Just one small, oldish pilllow. If you don’t have internet, you cannot scan the code on the door. Tough luck for you because you paid for the room but you can’t get in! Only good thing is the location.

The property is well appointed and very nicely curated in a beautiful setting. The proprietor is very friendly and extremely helpful. For us it served as a very nice base while we explored the area for a few days. What is not immediately obvious from the photos is that this property is right next door to the owner's house which really limits your privacy somewhat. It is also located next to farmland (which is pastoral and beautiful) but during our stay they fertilized the fields so we couldn't spend any time outside on the lovely back patio or open the windows. Not the Owner's fault of course, but something to bear in mind. We would also suggest that the linens be updated somewhat. Given the price we were paying we would have hoped for something a little less "family summer house" quality. As compared with other hotels in the area however, we would stay there again.
