"The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very nice. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we found to be well maintained and as we would have wanted. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner although the service at breakfast was disappointing as our coffee was forgotten. "I stayed here whilst working away. The place is very clean and modern; everything looks brand new. The other review states the bed was too hard; I found it to be extremely soft. I’m wondering whether one side is harder than the other as it’s basically two single beds made into a king. The owner was friendly and helped show me round. I will definitely stay again next time I’m working in the area. The only thing I would say is with all the modern appliances in the room, a full-sized ironing board, shelf in the shower (having to bend down with lower back issues is a pain) and a non-stick frying pan would have been welcome additions."

"Lovely accommodation within a lovely village, the views of the countryside out the back were amazing. The cottage was very well equipped. The shower in the en-suite was one of the best we have encountered in a holiday let and the bed was super comfy. They could do with an ash bucket, the information guide asks you to put the ash in a bin liner, this we were not prepared to do as ash takes a couple of days to cool and we used the log burner daily. Also the cleanliness was a little disappointing as there was a cushion on the bed covered in dust, just a little more attention to detail and this property would be excellent. The pub in the village was very friendly, only a minutes walk away, we can fully recommend their fish and chips. We also visited the Italian restaurant one evening and the garden centre one morning for a full english, both were delicious and only a ten minute walk, all offering gluten free options which for us was perfect."
