"This was a quick layover before heading to the other side of the island for our son’s wedding. We enjoyed being tucked into the tropical setting g bit still a quick walk to the beach. Really adorable place, clean and comfortable. As with many island accommodations there were only fans and breezes through open windows. And there were fun critters to keep us company."

"Nice host and clean property just minutes walk from the beach. They provided beach gear, sunscreen, and towels so you're ready to hit the water right away. At the end of the day though, what really made us happy to stay here was the fact that they were willing to work with us and find a solution when our travel was impacted due to Hurricane Lowell (we were going to island hop to Kauai and had to find a last minute place to stay). We will be back"

"Terrific owners who clearly take pride in offering a wonderful property. The property was generously stocked with household necessities and outdoor toys. Duane stayed in close contact to ensure all went well especially considering the storm that hit the Big Island during our stay. Fortunately, Kailua-Kona was spared the worst of hurricane Lala.As advertised, the location is excellent with the beach across the street and Kona just a few minutes away. Mahalo Duane & Cheri"

"A wonderful, enormous property. Far bigger than we needed. Two houses in one. We travelled with 4 couples and each had their own bathroom. Two kitchens, two living rooms, two enormous verandas, tons of beach equipment we could use, laundry (with soap) easy communication with the host and super convenient beach access. Great location in easy driving distance to touristy areas and close access to stores. Everything we could possibly need."
