"I think the big problem they have the staff is the same as everywhere else. Young staff inexperienced that have been thrown in the deep end to deal with people that obviously have travelled and now know how it works and some points are disappointing. When the young staff don’t listen to the orders i.e. the dining room when two meals arrive and one person sits there because the order was never taken at exactly the same time how this happens. I don’t know but the problem was resolved."

"Great place for a family gathering, private setting, very spacious and lots of comfortable beds good linen, good bathrooms and great kitchen. Heated pool was terrific, excellent BBQ and outdoor settings, Outdoor fire pit with plenty of wood. Well stocked pantry with breakfast supplies and good coffee. Host was excellent with communications and quickly responded when assistance was needed."

"Beautiful old hotel with loads of character and mountain charm. As with all older buildings they need maintenance to keep up there beauty…the Hydro Majestic could do with some minor repairs to maintain its historic charm. Definitely worth a stay and a casual drink at the Belgravia Bar next to fireplace."
