Cairngorms National Park apartment in Carrbridge

"A warm and inviting haven nestled within the beautiful, lush landscape of the Cairngorms. The apartment fulfilled all of our expectations and provided a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing base from which to enjoy the surrounding area. The old Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge was a delightful discovery on our exploratory walk in to the village to find dinner. It was a pleasure to return after a day out exploring, with everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The setting is truly lovely, and the combination of comfort, charm, and beautiful surroundings made our visit especially memorable. We would be very happy to stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others."

"It’s a very attractive house architecturally. The dining and living area is very cosy. We lit the wood-burning stove and really enjoyed the warmth and atmosphere. There’s a small utility room (+++) leading out to the sauna and the hot tub (+++). It’s all very well laid out. The kitchen is beautifully fitted out, but could be a bit better equipped for cooking. The bathrooms are top-notch. The bedrooms are also very nicely furnished, but the mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. There weren’t any extra blankets either, which we could have done with. We could have slept better."

"Because there were only 2 people using the property. I believe it should have been reflected in the overall price. Especially when it was the time of year not popular with the majority of people. Also at this price I would have expected not to have to strip the bed. Very little cleaning to do.The electric cooker was disgustingly dirty hadn’t been cleaned for a long while. Overall the house was lovely."
