We arrived as welcomed guests by Jess and his team and left as friends. The villa is delightful situated on the edge of the canal and we enjoyed just sitting on the verandah and watching the river life pass by.Jess cooked the most amazing meals for us in the adjacent kitchen - undoubtedly some of the best we had in our three weeks in India - and personalised to our particular tastes.Amongst other activities we went on a magical early morning canal trip in a two passenger...

Top Thanneermukkom Hotel Reviews

Punnamada Resorts

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely lake-side setting - very peaceful. Reception organised a kayak tour for me, which was good fun. I'd an issue with the TV, and the hotel Technician was at my room within 5 minutes of me mentioning it. He determined it was broken, and brought a new one and installed it within 30 minutes. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and all were lovely meals. The restaurant team were also very helpful - one noticed that I'd started some toast while I took my plate of food to my table, and so she stepped in, collected some butter and jam, and added my toast to a plate which she brought it over to the table for me. Attentive and helpful. The pool was also lovely and warm."

Ramada Resort by Wyndham Kochi

10/10 Excellent

"The constant power outages and inconsistent AC in the room was not enjoyable. Otherwise the food was delicious, the staff was very helpful, the property was scenic and enjoyable. The pool area needs some upgrades and the poolside service took a long time for drinks. The mattress in the room was comfortable and the house keeping staff did a good job cleaning the room everyday. Thanks"
