"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"It’s a historic building, so there is some noise from the floors and the soundproofing isn’t great, but the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are friendly and the place is clean."

The food was good. Parking was OK. The location is very good with grass down to the river and seats. down to the river."
