Outpost: Teewinot C1 - Hot Tub Access

  • This comfortable three bedroom, three-bath unit embodies classic Jackson Hole ski condo charm. The great stone fireplace invites you to relax and and enjoy your Western mountain getaway. The mudroom is perfect for shedding your ski boots or summer gear, and will make staying organized easy. The unit features a primary bedroom with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with a queen, and a third bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. The charming condo is perfect for a family looking to explore all Jackson Hole has to offer. Enjoy complimentary access to the pool and hot tubs at the nearby Sundance Swim and Tennis Club. You'll love unwinding after a day on the slopes or hiking trails.

    *Complimentary access to the two hot tubs and pool at Sundance Swim and Tennis Club. Sundance is open Memorial Day through early-October and again from late-November through early April.

    Please note that this home does not have air conditioning, as central AC is still an uncommon property feature throughout Jackson Hole. Fortunately, due to our elevation and mountain climate, we find indoor temperatures can be regulated by following procedures detailed in the guest portal provided upon booking.

    *Please note that the National Parks Service has construction planned for Moose-Wilson Road, affecting the closest entrance to Grand Teton Park, the Granite Canyon Entrance. We have outlined the closures they anticipate below:

    Through late July: open from 7 pm Friday to 7 am Monday, or the day after a federal holiday at 7 am.

    Late July through the remainder of the summer: open seven days a week with possible 20-minute delays.

    During the specified closures, access to the park is fortunately still possible through the main entrance in Moose. Please contact us for recommended routes

The property was in a great location for accessing the JH base area whether by chairlift or by the free bus service. The unit was very nicely finished and appeared to recently updated. The layout was perfect for our group (two families) with a well appointed kitchen and three full bathrooms. I strongly recommend this rental for groups looking for a nice rental with ski-in ski-out access.

Wonderful Stay

We love staying at VRBO's and this by far was one of the best we have stayed at. It was clean, appliances were new and top brands. And the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We will stay here again!

Loved the Condo!

The condo was so nice and equipped with everything we needed for a week long stay. The location was beautiful and perfect for our visits to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Our kids also love swimming and riding the Jackson Hole Gondola to eat waffles on the tops of the mountain.

The property is A+. Very clean and updated. Very good location. Very well stocked. Good communication with rental company. We arrived at night and did not realize the C-1 garage was on the opposite end from C-1 Condo. Would stay there again.

Community amenities a plus

Enjoyable retreat on the bottom floor of a condo building with garage access. Unit was not cleaned well on arrival (floors had not been swept, some dishes put away dirty and wet—likely due to poorly functioning dishwasher as we later discovered). After a message to the property manager, we arrived back at the unit to the cleaning crew working to make things right. Really enjoyed the location in Teton Village, the pool and hot tub access were a great addition. Sidewinders Pizza nearby was excellent (just don’t try to place the cardboard box in the trash, you’ll get scolded by a passive aggressive note on the door, even though there is no recycling available at the unit). Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and the unit was well-equipped to handle our larger family with quick access to Teton National Park.

Xmas trip

We take a family Christmas trip every year instead of gifts, now that our boys are adults. This condo was perfect for that. We were a minute from the mountain to board and snow ski. The management was quick to respond to questions. Clean and spacious, exactly what we needed. I would suggest maybe having some board games or something for groups to play. We brought our own playing cards, but it would be great for guests to have cards and a variety of games to play and hang out. The toaster was also not great, it just didn't toast well at all, and I think it probably needs to be replaced, it would only toast one side at a time. I did play with it, to see if it was a "me," problem, but, everyone kept trying to adjust it and I think a new one would be good for guests. Minor issues and certainly not first world problems, by any means. Overall, we loved the people and the town of Jackson Hole and it was a great trip!

The property itself was nice and definitely met our family’s needs. The bunk bedroom was great for the kids, and their community pool area is lovely! What was not great is some of the communication from the property manager. They are quick to message and say they want to provide excellent service, but when we actually needed assistance it was subpar. The faucets in the showers need to be replaced, we had issues adjusting heat of the water. We also had major issues with the hot water heater and were only able to use one of the three showers during our stay, which was a challenge with 6 people. The Property Management company was quick to respond to the issue and sent someone out, but then it was clear someone with Plumbing Maintenance experience needed to come out. He confirmed with us that the hot water heater was not acting properly, but then when we text communicated with the Property Management, they never confirmed if the issue was actually fixed and text me back saying the hot water heater was not having issues (which was untrue). I feel that the communication is a lot of fluff, and they have multiple people managing and no clarity or consistency with issue resolution. (We also asked for extra dishwasher pods, and they never were delivered.) As someone who owns investment properties and manages them myself, I would be very upset as an owner with the lack of communication and follow through from my property management company.

We loved this place. They provided everything we needed and it was so clean. We saw moose, elk and bison within 5 minutes of the condo. This is an ideal base for traveling between Grand Teton and Yellowstone.
