Beautiful stay, lovely people

We had a really nice stay at casa delle viole. The house, the Garden, the swimmingpool, all of it was beautiful. We got fresh vegetables and salad from the garden, the owner of the house are so lovely and friendly. And they respected our privacy. We would definitly stay there again.

Fantastic Vrbo stay

Santa & Giovanni were wonderful! Anything we needed help with they were always available. Even gave us a ride to the train station! Fresh fruit & vegetables were plentiful! The air conditioners worked very well. It was very hot while we were there for 5 1/2 weeks. The pool was very refreshing. They even cooked for us along with their son & daughters help. We would definitely recommend you staying at this lovely home. It was very private, but the town was only 5 minutes away.

A fantastic Villa in Tuscany

This is a well contained villa with a beautiful garden surrounding the property. As a group of friends we enjoyed all the comforts of the property including the swimming pool. Spent relaxing times in the porch beside the kitchen. The bedrooms are well furnished and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The hosts Santa and Giovanni are lovely and stocked the kitchen with complimentary essentials and drinks. They also provided some vegetables from their allotment which was very kind of them. We spent a comfortable long weekend in the villa and highly recommend for rental.

Quiet place for time with family

Beautiful grounds. We were blown away by the outdoor space. Very nice hosts too. We were gifted a box of home grown vegetables and some basic items when we arrived. A great place to spend time with family. The only negatives are that the photos of the property makes it look like 2 separate buildings. It is actually 1 big house with 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom doubles as a hallway from the main build, through to the 2nd kitchen and bed/bathroom, so it’s a little awkward. None of the bedrooms are fully enclosed. The master bedroom is overlooked from a balcony by one of the double bedrooms, which also looks over the single bedroom. It would be great if each bedroom were private. The only air con units are in the 2nd kitchen and the master bedroom, so the other bedrooms do get hot. Still a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay.

Great property to experience and explore Tuscany. Beautiful property that easily accommodated our family of five. Quite, secluded property but only minutes from restaurants, shopping, and the train station. Centrally located for easy driving day trips to Florence, Pisa and other Tuscan cities or a train ride to Venice. The real jewels of the property are the gracious hosts, their beautiful garden and the artwork thoughout the house painted by the hostess.

Just amazing!

We stayed 5 nights, 2 families (4 adults and 2 kids). Love the house! Nice outdoor, BBQ grill, swimming pool, ping-pong table, and swing. We've had meals and drinks under the covered patio everyday. Hosts (older couple) were great, always available and took care anything you asked for. Due to the language barrier we had to use google translate, and they has a translator for check-in and check-out. Kids did not want to leave the house and we had to threatened them to go sightseeing during the day, LOL!

Amazing house and great host

Me and my family 4 adults and 3 young child stayed at this amazing house. The pool and garden are great perfect for a family. Santa and her husband really are great hosts they're very welcoming. They delivered us amazing vegetables for there garden. Santa was always available if we need any help with anything. They both and the house really where amazing and i would highly recommended staying. I recommend learning some Italian even a like will go along way. For other guest something that might be useful when stating in the area. Best option when traveling to Florence is the train from San Giovanni 10mins drive away. Its very cheap and there is a free car park at the train station. if you can, get the 30min train as it only stops a 2 stops before Florence the other train takes 1hr and stops at all the stations. Food shop the Co-op has a great selection and there are a few other options in like Lidl lots of options. As most guest will have a car, Siena is a must visit is only 1hr drive (make sure to take motorway route). This was a great holiday and I can wait to visit again in the future. Wonderful owners and property

We stayed at several properties in Italy this past summer and Santa and Giovanni were the best owners we stayed with. They are extremely nice and make you feel like part of their family. The house was in a good location for us to visit Siena, Florence and Arezzo. The inside is modern, very thoughtfully put together, very clean and the owners provided us with everything needed during the stay. The biggest surprise was the basket not of just fresh vegetables from their garden but also a couple other grocery products to help for a first day. Our kids enjoyed playing with the family little cats and had fun eating a couple of fruits from the fruit trees on the property. The wifi was excellent and youtube/netflix as well as an xbox were big sellers for the kids as well. Ilaria and her sister who helped with the checkin/checkout process were extremely knowledgeable about the property and made sure all our questions were answered. While the property does not have air conditioning the windows were thoughtfully installed to provide mosquito nets and outdoor shutters which close securely so you can sleep with the windows open. We really hope to be back at some point and stay here for more nights. Thank you Santa and Giovanni for a wonderful stay and for making us feel so welcome and like a part of your amazing family! See you next time!

Das Haus liegt ruhig und alleine. Das Grundstück ist groß und sehr schön. Das Haus ist groß und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist größer, als er auf den Bildern wirkt. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, sie haben uns sogar frisches Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten gebracht. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten in der Toskana

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die liebevollen Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar und konnten uns schnell bei allem helfen. Der Garten war fantastisch, mit tollem Pool und vielen Möglichkeiten zum entspannen. Sie haben uns sogar mit Gemüse aus ihrem Garten versorgt, einfach prima! Die Unterkunft selber war sehr gut eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir können daher nur eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen und würden auch selber immer wieder kommen, wenn wir in der Nähe Urlaub machen wollen.

Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung

Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie (Kinder 1-6 Jahre) eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus und dem riesigen Gelände von Santa erleben dürfen. Der Garten ist eine echte Oase, quasi nicht einsehbar und perfekt geeignet, um richtig zu entspannen. Die Kinder hatten nie Langeweile, weil es entweder etwas im Garten zu entdecken gab, oder weil man den tollen Pool aus Herzenslust nutzen konnte. Sehr hilfreich ist es, dass das gesamte Gelände eingezäunt ist.

Siamo voluti tornare nuovamente per un altro capodanno, soprattutto grazie all'esperienza fantastica che abbiamo vissuto l'anno scorso. La casa è impeccabile come sempre, fornita di qualsiasi cosa e soprattutto pulita. Ci teniamo ancora una volta a ringraziare i proprietari, che hanno soddisfatto le nostre richieste e che hanno saputo aiutarci nel momento del bisogno. Tolle Gastgeber!

Wir haben drei Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Räume und Zwischenböden sind sehr verschachtelt. Anders als vermutet gibt es keine komplett voneinander getrennten Wohneinheiten. Wenn man mit Familie und engen Freunden reist, ist es ok, dass Privatsphäre innerhalb der Unterkunft schwer zu finden ist. Dafür ist der Außenbereich sehr großzügig. Die beiden zweijährigen Kinder könnten das ganze Grundstück erkunden, da es komplett umzäunt ist. Die Sitzgelegenheiten am Pool und unter der Pergola sind gemütlich und detailreich gestaltet. Die Ausstattung der beiden Küchen lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Engagement und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber, die etwas abseits auf demselben Grundstück wohnen. Nach Menüabsprache wurde unsere Gruppe von 10 Gästen ganz hervorragend bekocht. Das typisch toskanische Essen war perfekt, wurde zeitlich passend serviert und war in meinen Augen günstig. Gerne spreche ich Santa und Giovanni meinen Dank und meine Empfehlung aus!

Ein kleines Paradies

Schon beim Eintritt durch das Gartentor eröffnet sich der Blick auf ein sehr gepflegtes, freundliches Haus mit großem Außengelände. Mit der Führung durch das Haus wurde uns schnell klar, dass wir uns hier sehr wohlfühlen werden. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden und als Bonus gab es immer frisches Gemüse von Giovanni. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, haben im Pool gebadet, Tischtennis gespielt, geschaukelt und jede Sonnenliege auf dem großen Grundstück ausprobiert. Essen unter Weinreben - besser geht es nicht. Wir sagen GRAZIE MILLE und wir kommen gern wieder.

Prachtig

Zeer mooie huis, eigenlijk een dubbele woning. Huis is erg compleet. Ook de wijn en bier etc. dat klaar stond wordt erg gewaardeerd. Zwembad en tuin is zeer mooi aangelegd op een heuvel en goed onderhouden.
