Details are everything in this rental, from the river rock wall in the bathroom, to the mixed-material ceiling, to the hand-built bonus outdoor shower. Casa Piedra features a king-sized bed, large bathroom, mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, Berkey water filter, air conditioning and heat, WiFi, and an outdoor fire pit -- wood is not included.

Guests will have access to the entire casita, along with private parking just outside the place.

The neighborhood is Terlingua's iconic Ghost Town. Just yards away, you can see some of the old mining ruins from an era when this town was livelier.

There is free parking on the property.

Casa Piedra is the modern version of one of Terlingua Ghost Town's historic mining ruins -- complemented by its surroundings yet still charming. It's also driving minutes from Big Bend and walking minutes from the center of Ghost Town. A great spot to be for those wanting to experience this special part of West Texas.
