"The location was maybe 3 or 4 minutes from the station, Near a 7-11 and a Lawson Station. A wonderful stay in Kamakura. The staff were extremely helpful in getting us a guide for the city and deliverying luggage to the airport. It's on a main drag that leads to the beach or up to the major city shrine. The room was very efficient and comfortable, the hot water plentiful for the bath! Downstairs there was a very nice restaurant that had a wonderful buffet breakfast. Totally recommend!"

"Did not receive any communication from the host upon arrival. Sent multiple messages. Its been over two weeks and still no response. Upon arrival no way to access. This was after a flight from the US so had to scramble to find a room at night in the middle of Kamakura. The ROOM (since its not a hotel) was located on the fourth floor-- with very narrow stair case- making it impossible to carry luggage up to the room. This was not advertised at all. I have been in Japan for 28 years and this is highly unusual. "
