"We've stayed at the Intercontinental here many times and it continues to make us smile. This time was wonderful - especially the quality of the buffet dinners. Always a welcoming place that is dependable to take care of you with always weird arrival and departure times."

"Checkout was very very long! Order your taxi in advance and it goes by room number or name for that I almost missed my ferry because of the long checkout process. The hotel is beautiful, the room I had with the bathroom clear wall that blinds you when your sleeping if your mate goes to the washroom, is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. Not a good idea at all. The pool area is beautiful and it’s a nice touch that the hotel is connected by an above walkway to the shopping mall infront of it. "

"The hotel is in a good location to walk to the main promenade in Papeete, Although it’s not a pretty neighborhood. Quite a few shuttered businesses but felt completely safe to walk around day or night. The street noise is present if in one of the street facing rooms. It has a pool that is having a reno, but it’s nice and looks out towards the hillside. The workout room was sufficient and I appreciated it being included. We didn’t use the spa. The staff were efficient and helpful. They offer luggage storage which was great. Overall I would stay here again for a stopover. My biggest complaint is there is no outlet in the bathroom and no mirror in the bedroom where the outlets are. If you want to use any hair appliances, there is no way to see yourself. "

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! My wife and I walked through the garden to the beach every morning to watch the most beautiful sunrises. The property was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect for sleeping at night. The host was super friendly and gave us ideas on what to do and see while visiting. I would highly recommend this bungalow and would stay here again!"

"I stayed here because it's close to the airport, and I thought I could walk, but it's too dangerous to walk - you pretty much have to take a taxi, which is $20 each way from the airport. Also, I thought they had a cafe or something there, but there is no food (just a vending cooler), so if I'm paying $20 each way to get here, I'd probably stay somewhere else for the price. "

"We were really enjoyed every minute our vacation! The staff were excellent! I would like to say special thanks for help my request ( birthday surprise) to Maima. She did a great job to prepare my husband surprise present. The room was spotless the restaurant was great. The bar was fun,many nights were live music on. The beach and the ocean were clean and gorgeous. The place was overall our expectations. We spent more than a week in the bungalow. Highly recommend this place."
