Beautiful 2-bedroom Cottage plus 1-bedroom Bunkie on Georgian Bay! Located in a quiet area with a private beach! In the summer the lake is perfect for swimming! Just bring water shoes as there can be rocks and zebra muscles. We have a two-person kayak, perfect for a day out on the water. In the evening, curl up by the outdoor fire pit, roast marshmallows and enjoy the amazing sunsets! It is the perfect place for a summer getaway! Please note this cottage is Pet Free. This space is unique as it has its own private beach but is also perfectly situated next to Magnus Beach, which is another beautiful place to enjoy the sun and the sand! The main cottage is complete with a full kitchen, 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms (master bedroom with a queen bed, other bedroom has a double bed). Forced air A/C and heat make it comfortable all year round. And in the winter cozy up by the gas fireplace! Wifi (with a Chromecast to the TV), Satellite TV and a DVD player are available. A full deck provides spectacular views to watch the sunset. Board games are also available. The kitchen is equipped with a full fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and other small kitchen appliances. Please note some walls in the main cottage do not go all the way to the ceiling. Therefore, sound does travel between rooms. Water equipment is to be used at your own risk. Please use the kayak responsibly. For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external Ring doorbell / security camera on the front porch. It is always on and recording video and audio. There are no other cameras on the premises. We are always available by phone, email or text during your stay. Situated on the outskirts of Port McNicoll, the neighbourhood consists of mainly cottages. It is a very quiet neighbourhood with little noise or disturbances. The cottage is about a 10 minute drive from all the local grocery stores and shopping centres. There is no public transportation in this area but there are several Midland taxi services that can be used. The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 6\. Please do not bring any additional guests during your stay. Our septic system doesn\`t allow it. Should it be found that there are more than 6 people on the property, you will be charged extra and may be asked to leave. The tap water is not drinkable. However, we will provide a water dispenser with water for you to drink. Absolutely no parties allowed. Out of respect for the neighbours, please keep noise to a minimum between 10 pm - 8 am daily. Absolutely no dogs or pets are permitted. If it is found that you have brought a pet, you will be charged a $300 cleaning fee. Any watercraft on site is to be used at your own discretion. We will not be held liable for any incidents resulting in the use of onsite water equipment. It is the user\`s responsibility to be aware of weather conditions, watercraft rules and any local laws associated with the use of the equipment. Please make yourself familiar with fire burning / firework bylaws in our area. Information can be found on the Tay Township website. Payment is due at the time of booking. Confirmed guests will receive a link to our guest portal to sign our rental agreement and view booking details (including payments and receipts). Our cancellation policy is as follows: 100% Refund: For cancellations made 30 days or more before the check-in date. 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the check-in date. No Refund: For cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the check-in date. A $500 security hold will be placed on the guest’s credit card 3 days prior to check-in. This is a pre-authorization only and no funds will be charged unless damage or excessive cleaning is identified after check-out. \- Please keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm \-Maximum of 6 people are allowed on the property at any given time. Should it be found that there are more than 6 people on the property you will be asked to leave without a refund. You will also be charged for the extra guests. \- We have a very strict no pet policy. If we find that you have brought a pet to the property you will be charged a $300 cleaning fee. There are many things to do in the area but the house has games, toys and a kayak that make it fun to just stay put. Would help sleeping arrangements if there were 3 separate beds. Water was clean and nice to swim in. The water is really shallow for a good distance so this would be ideal for families with young swimmers. I would recommend this place to anybody. Beautiful view, , However some of the neighbors loud ,all very very close, floors were uneven with different levels between dinning room and living room , not a standard stair height but a 4 inch step which was between living room and dinning area but also in-between bed room and rest of cottage making it extremely dangerous for middle of night washroom trips. Also a lip /gap between kitchen and rest of cottage. The exit to deck was also an irregular height throwing off ones balance entering and exiting. the bunky was lovely with an even floor .However stairs up to it were very steep making it not a good option either. My husband had 3 falls while we stayed leading to bruised ribs and a painful drive home, he is still recovering. The oak tree over the deck was full of acorns ,being pelted down by the squirls non stop leaving bruises , and more dangerously rolling under foot even though we swept 3-4 times a day. The host was lovely and quick to respond very nice person. Great local as per views and water access but not recommended for any one with mobility issues. Or use to quiet. ##### Peggie B.
