Lakefront Location Taupo

  • Modern decor , sunny, private & perfectly situated across the road from the lake with fabulous lake & mountain views. Recently renovated including full insulation, repainted, double glazed throughout & new heat pump installed, , this spacious apartment has all you need for your getaway break.
    Fully fenced with large wooden deck , bbq , & outdoor furniture to laze around & just simply relax.
    With the town & shopping centre only a 5 minute drive ,there are many great cafes & restaurants to sample. The popular Lions walk is directly across the road & the well known 2 Mile Sailing Centre is just around the corner for a beer, pizza & some live music. Taupo is famous for its outdoor activities , either land or water based , there is definetly something for everyone to enjoy. After a full day the thermal hot pools are a wonderful place to soak & soothe. !
    We have the perfect place to relax & enjoy all that Taupo has to offer & everything you need to have a great stay.

We found this property to have spacious living and outdoor areas, very comfortable furniture and bedding and excellent views. The location was convenient for restaurants, activities, the lake and shops. We would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay in Lake Taupo Area

The apartment was big with plenty of room for 3 adults. It’s close to everything and the hosts provided everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!

Taupo Lake Views

Great place to stay and even on the main road, traffic was not on issue. I love that you allowed us to bring the dog. Wish more people were trusting with their rentals. I will definitely consider stay again.

Had the best holiday ,the apartment was just beautiful and relaxing , so nice waking up to the amazing views .. plus the extra touches of chocolate and yummy coffee was a treat . will definitely be coming back.😁

Sparkling apartment with lovely ambience and view

We were thoroughly amazed by the beautiful apartment, quiet yet opposite the lake with the main road below. The garden surrounds and being on a rise above the lake made it feel very private. The apartment had absolutely everything you could wish for.

4 Days Off!

For us, this trip was awesome. 4 days of doing nothing but catching up with each other. The place had a neat little view of the lake, the road and the hotel across the street. Always something to watch and see. Our dog had a blast too. Loved watching people and cyclists. We had a few great sunsets and the break was just what we needed.

Great location, excellent views

This was a great spot, just across the road from the lake. It is elevated so you get great views of the lake. You can walk into town - I think it is about 2 km and a very pleasant walk along the lakefront. We were delighted to be able to bring our dog - you must arrange this beforehand and there is a size limit but the owner was very amenable to this. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the kitchen well-stocked with everything you need. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful home away from home

Dear Angela,Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The house was very clean, even by my mum's standards, and she is very hard to impress. Everything was as advertised, apart from being unable to watch free-to-air TV in the bedroom. But this is a very minor problem as we were not really there to watch TV. I would highly recommend this property to anyone after a beautiful, clean house and an incredible view of the lake.Thank you!Kind regards,Ana

Unfortunately not quite what is advertised

Location is great, and property is generally pretty tidy. Unfortunately two of the key selling points for us were not as advertised. There is no gas fire (despite the listing saying there is) which would have been nice on a cold winter night. The “hot tub” is a plastic pool that was empty and filthy, so not able to be used. It would be good if an email explaining how to locate the property was sent prior to the stay, as it is in a complex and very hard to find (especially in the dark)

Fantastic location just across from Manuel's Milennium hotel and a short walk to the Sailing Club, which is dog friendly and has great pizzas, cocktails, live music & a great friendly vibe.The house was modern, clean, had everything you need and the most stunning view of the lake from the lounge & the outside area. The outside area is gorgeous & the recent additions of a thermal hot tub was unexpected & absolutely fabulous. There was no better way to have a cocktail from the pool and totally relax. The hosts were great & answered any questions we had promptly.We really loved being able to bring my dog along on holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday absolutely loved our stay & will be back.
