This is a great hotel if you are coming to Taunton by train as it is next to the station. There is also good free parking and it is only a fairly short and easy walk into the centre of town. There also pubs and other shops in the immediate area.

Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch.

Great location. Clean and well decorated room. Quirky touches. Lots of milk, coffee, tea and cookies in room. Good portion at breakfast. There is no dinner options, but you can order in a d use the dinning room. Very charming

Excellent welcome by staff on arrival Breakfast fantastic a great choice and plenty of food Parking was easy and it was straightforward to log your vehicle Only little niggle was the room was cold because apparently the heating had been switched off two weeks earlier- I know it was June when I checked in but the English weather is unpredictable and a little heat at least first thing in the morning would have made it more comfortable
