"All round good facilities, parking, cleanliness and food"

"A nice place to stay with family. Kids loved the place."

"Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast."

"Clean room and pleasant staff"

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."

"Fine for a one night stay."

"Clean, comfortable, relatively quiet and at a great price. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!"

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"Great staff Fabulous breakfast Clean room"

"The property is set in beautiful surroundings.. staff very polite and food excellent, room clean and comfortable will definitely visit again"

"Great location and wonderful quirky property"

"Friendly but unimposing hosts. Lovely food, including the freshly made marmalade. The cooked breakfast was great with a range of cereals and freshly made toast. Off road parking. Lovely large room with emsuite shower."
