Well equipped and comfortable studio apartment with good outlook over the garden to the bay. As an older couple we found the split level flooring a bit awkward to manoeuvre our way over and space was a bit tight on each side of the bed. Despite these unusual features we loved staying at the apartment and observing the local wildlife.

Amazing. Beautifully clean, tidy, lovely friendly lady at reception. Fantastic. Thank you.

The hotel was a lovely old building. My room was huge with a seperate lounge area. The breakfast was great.

Beautiful old home with a fascinating history all documented in books available to read. Owner Stan was so helpful, enjoyed good chats and the service was great - ample breakfast in lovely dining room with drinks available all day. Use of kitchen also throughout the day to prepare own food if wanted. Easy bus ride into Hobart if no car. Would 100% recommend.

We had a lovely room. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a harbour view. The room was very comfortable. However we do have some reservations about how the staff communicate with each other in an emergency situation. We were there when water was pouring from a sprinkler being set off and causing flooding on 2nd floor, reception area , the lift shafts and one emergency fire exit. Being pensioners we struggled to get cases down the emergency stairs and it was difficult to find help. There did not...

We stayed for 4 nights, and were the only guests there the whole time, which was just a tiny bit odd. However, the room was very good, comfortable and clean in a lovely 'Spanish villa' type hotel. Huge breakfast cooked to order and helpful staff. Easy to find and loads of parking. I understand that the owner is thinking of expanding, not sure where the guests are going to come from but good luck!

Friendly welcome Great service, great food and lovely accommodation.

This must be one of the most interesting hotels to stay in all the world with this amazing theme of story telling. Everything about it was fabulous from checkin to checkout. We only stayed one night but wished we had planned for longer. Why? The roo was enormous, well equipped and with a great bed and bedding. The view over the waterfront was sensational. It was so quiet at night so great sleep. The evening meal was very high quality from a sensibly short menu but with a good wine list. ...

Valet parking was excellent Very clean room and friendly staff

Great location, welcoming staff. Clean. We are in the restaurant, fabulous food. Would recommend this hotel.

Individually styled delightful and comfortable ‘Gardeners Cottage’

Stayed 3 nights at Clydesdale Manor at the end of a Tasmania road trip. It’s a beautiful building inside and out, with nice gardens and plenty of parking. It’s a couple of kilometres outside the centre of Hobart. it’s walkable in half an hour, which is fine if you’re going there for the day, but a bit inconvenient for dinner/drinks in the evening unless you don’t mind driving or taking taxis. Having said that, there are some excellent places to eat nearby. Our room was large and traditionally...

Great hotel in a fantastic location in the centre of Hobart. Easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. Highly recommended if you are visiting Hobart.

The Henry Jones Art Hotel has a fantastic location right by Elizabeth Street Pier, and is surrounded by a plethora of seafood restaurants - it’s conveniently located for walking around the docks and/or Hobart city centre. The room was great, and the reception staff were excellent - I needed a couple of documents to be printed and (later) scanned to PDF, and the staff were very helpful. Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking...
