I would definitely come here again. The owners/staff were wonderful and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and with a great seaview. It is a short walk to the piazzas, restos and shopping. The parking fee is worth it since there is nowhere to park in the city unless you are a resident. Once we arrived, we did not use our rental car again until it was time to leave. If you are going to Taormina, I highly recommend this charming, very personal hotel. Seeing Mt. Etna was a treat.

This is the perfect clean and comfortable hotel for a reasonable price. It provides a fantastic breakfast with the best view in Taormina. The location is perfect as it’s a 5 min walk from everything but not in the loud public streets. The staff we’re fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel in its price range. Staff could not be better; all were very nice and helpful. The room was clean, but some of the decor is a bit dated. The bed was comfortable, a large bathroom and spectacular view from the small balcony.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and although we didn't have room service if we wanted tea it was no problem for the staff.

Wonderful!
The staff at Hotel Condor is fantastic! So kind, so helpful, so warm and friendly! The view of the sea from our rooms was gorgeous; rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend for a comfortable, welcoming, " feel like family" hotel atmosphere. Grazie mille!

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Condor. I had a room with a small balcony and water view. It’s location is very convenient to the town- 10 min walk. My only complaint was that the bed was hard and not comfortable to sleep.

Overpriced and substandard
A valuable lesson learnt - after planning a trip to Toarmina our first hotel was bad so decided to change and found condor. Staff were friendly and yes it did have a sea view but....room was outdated, the bathroom was not clean and the view - well if you look over the construction site and unfinished buildings you’ll see the sea. What was most disappointing was the price....I booked online and as soon as I entered the room felt like I had been ripped off. We stayed one night and the next day left, it almost ruined our stay as I had given up on hotels over charging. My mother was sick and thought we should just cancel the holiday and come home. The night was noisy, could here the couple talking and in their phones until late and out room was under the restaurant so was woken up by chairs being dragged across the floor. By chance we found a hotel in Toarmina - central location near hotel metropole on the main parade.... same price 100% better in every way. The contrast from Condor to the one we found was incredible....stylish, interior designed, boutique. My problem isn’t wit condor per say, it’s with hotels in Toarmina massively over charging for a sea view....take my advice....with some searching and not requesting a sea view.....you will find much much much better rooms in much better locations.

The staff were friendly and helpful and available. They even bought me a bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday. The breakfast selection was amazing with fresh hot and cold selections. The only negative was the shower was very small and awkward. Would certainly recommend this hotel for it’s location, service and cleanliness as well as a lovely terrace with a view

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Condor. When we arrived they showed us our room and made sure we were satisfied. They provided great ideas on what to see in and around town, really went above and beyond what we expected. The location was also super easy to find and the staff was terrific, we would definitely go back.

My husband and son recently stayed at The Hotel Condor. They loved the breakfast, the beautiful views, the outdoor area and the location. The staff were helpful and polite. My husband, who has back issues, did comment that the beds were a little hard.

When I return to Taormina I will book this hotel again. It is in a great location being a short walk to downtown area and close to restaurants and staff was so kind and helpful. They have such a great staff! Breakfast on the terrace with a lot of selections was great. Such a great view. Out of all the hotels we booked on our vacation we all agreed this one was our favourite.

Were in Taormina for a couple of nights. Hotel is a very short walk to the main street with all the shops and restaurants and just far enough away for a quiet night's sleep. All staff very nice and helpful. Rooms and hotel very clean. Beautiful views from breakfast terrace. Met all of our expectations for our needs.

A lovely hotel in a quieter section of town, but only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the center of Taormina. I highly recommend booking a sea-view room because the view is stunning and you can watch the sun rise over the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfasts were quite good with a nice assortment of food and again, a fantastic view.

For us, this was the best location in the city. Only a couple of blocks off the main area, we walked everywhere, even to the Funicular which took us down to the beach. The buffet breakfast was superb, fresh and filling. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room had a/c but we just opened the window and let the sea breeze in. They also valet parked our car, which was helpful on the narrow streets. They arranged for a shuttle to the beach, with cots and food service.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel with a great sun terrace. Breakfast was good and room was clean and spacious. It is about 10 minute walk to the main area downhill a little longer back up hill but that’s Taormina. Would recommend this hotel

Hotel Condor and Taormina
The hotel is a couple of minutes walk, a bit uphill, from the very centre of Taormina, Porte Messina. This gave us a great view from our sea view balcony. There is a shutter which comes down at the touch of a button, which is great because otherwise, the fabulous sunshine in the mornings would have woken us at 4 am! The room was very clean, all facilities worked well and the aircon was a boon. There was a safe in the wardrobe. Fridge, stocked with some beer, soft drinks, water. Also, quite a few power points for our phones, etc. Good, basic, friendly breakfast. Helpful and knowledgeable staff in reception, which is open all hours. We would come back to Taormina again - we don't normally go back to places - and we would stay at the Condor. A very, very good week and the Condor played its part very well.

An enjoyable stay at the Hotel Condor.
See my review. This is an excellent, family run hotel with friendly efficient staff in reception and bar/restaurant. The breakfast is very good enjoyed in a beautiful setting with a panoramic view of the Ionian Sea and mountainous backdrop. The terrazzo panoramica on the top floor offers a breath taking view in a most relaxed setting. This is my second stay and second review. A room with a view at the rear of this hotel is highly recommended if you can get. Access to public bus and tourist bus services is a 15/20 minute walk to a local bus station and a local bus/taxis serves the Taormina Train station. I am glad to recommend Hotel Condor for its location, good service and good value.

The Hotel Condor is in a quiet part of town but only a convenient 10 mins walk to Corso Umberto. Hotel is small and very friendly and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful which made our holiday even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Hotel Condor is just wonderful! It is family-run, and they aim to please their guests. The best thing is their location—we had a room with a stunning view of the ocean—and their breakfast room had the same view. We loved Hotel Condor!
