"The staff member at the front counter was nice and welcoming. But where shall I begin? First of all, I was given a room with one bed instead of two. I was quickly moved to a two bed room, which I appreciated. When I went to look for the bathroom, I was shocked to find there was none in the bedroom! They have communal bathrooms and showers. I have never experienced this in my 30+ years of staying in hotels. Why it was not clear that all the rooms to not have a bathroom or shower, I do not understand. The quality of the bathrooms were not the best. This hotel really needs an upgrade. Bathrooms are old and dingy. The room had mold. There was a loud humming noise until 2 a.m.! My daughter left and stayed with a family Member who lives in Berkeley instead of staying in this hotel. I will not stay here again. The pictures online look nothing like the rooms in person. Beware!"
