It seems clean though. The room I was in was in need to repair , but the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The staff was very nice and always ready to help but some issues were faced during my stay. Facilities look outdated and some things in the bathroom looked dirty, rooms are not quiet if they have a window on the street and not sound proof from the other rooms either, cigarette smell appears sometimes and the wifi connectivity is poor. I heard noise from another room until 3am... The bathroom is clean and the toilet and shower are separated, dry and clean. The night stand and wall paper look very outdated and old. If you need fast and stable wifi, then avoid this hotel. The WiFi is horrible. I couldn't connect to the wifi, even I tried to connect the one in another floor, it's very very slow. Did tell the staff, but they didn't bother to solve my problem. So I had to use my mobile data from my cell phone. If you don't need WiFi, then this hotel is fine for an overnight stay. ##### Shun-Yuan Stayed 1 night in Dec 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### Edward 12 Mar 2024 Liked: Staff & service Bit of a strange setup, it's a large building with the hotel only on 2 levels and other businesses on the others (including both a karaoke bar and a care home). On arrival the lift stank of cigarettes and our room did too. I asked reception to switch our rooms and she kindly did and assured us that all the rooms are non smoking. I gather the smoking from one of the other floors wafts into the lift and vents and this room being close to the lift smelt strongly. The new one smelt better but did still get occasional wafts coming through. Can't fault the hotel for price point and location, near the MRT and convenience stores. It was sufficiently clean and comfortable. In general it is a little run down and the design choices plus the building it's in make for a creepy vibe.
