"This hotel smells awful. We tried to stay there anyway (had a two day visit), but the air conditioning was not suitable and it was hotter inside the room than outside. They do not staff their hotel overnight, so the only solution they were willing to offer was "open a window and deal with it until tomorrow". We ended up leaving and going to another hotel, so did not complete our night stay. They refunded the whole night for the second night, but would only offer a 50% refund on the first night."

"We had a very pleasant stay in Truckee at this cute cabin! Very pet friendly with comfy beds and plenty of space in common areas to hang out! We loved the privacy of the loft master bedroom, and the mattress was new and comfy. The cabin had a nice selection of games and activities and we appreciated the passes to the pool/sauna, although we didn't take as much advantage as we would like. It's definitely got the cozy nostalgic vibe of a childhood summer cabin and would be nice for families!"

"This home is truly a haven! Nicely located in Truckee (easy access). The home is very clean AND comfortable. Plenty of room in the common space to gather and enjoy great conversations and meals together with family/friends. The spaces in this home are really well laid out, it feels bigger than it is. The bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels and hot water. The space over the garage was such a great bonus to the house. I like that the TV was in the play zone, but the main area had no TV which I thought really lent itself to the enjoyment of "getting away" from the everyday noises and distractions back home ... hence the word "haven" is so fitting for this house. We cannot wait for our next escape to this lovely Truckee haven.And, I have to add ... the owner was amazing. Exceptional communication - always expedient and friendly. The owner treats the renters as "guests" and not merely a sales transaction. The hospitality was exceptional ... in every way. Thank you! We are grateful and blessed by it. "

"Our two families had a truly wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and comfortable throughout. Even when the snow and rain made the roads too treacherous to travel, we were more than happy to stay tucked away inside. There were plenty of things to do in the home that kept everyone entertained—the foosball table and the winter jigsaw puzzle were huge hits with the kids! We would definitely love to stay here again."
