My rating is based on a 5 star accommodation. I did not like the quality of service during the breakfast. Very poor. Why not to have a person who oversees the breakfast serving crew to ensure that coffee is warm, table set
is properly set up, dirty plates removed (attract flies), supplies replenished, invoice handed in the middle of a meal. All staff however, has been very friendly and they want to do well. Dinner service was on very high level, but a few meals poor, such as overcooked fresh fish.
Dinning in service was flawless on all counts including the food.
This is a very beautiful resort with pleasant and helpful staff, but in my view run by an incompetent management. The resort maintanance is being neglected and this is a shameful finding because it would not require exorbitant amount of funds to keep the walkways safe and outside furniture from falling appart. I wonder if the resort manager ever goes outside. I am sure he knows all about the cash flow, but is that enough to run a sustainable customer dependent business?
The room/hut service was far from satisfactory. The bar was not replenished once, tea, coffees supplies were replaced on intermittent basis…not a 5 star service again.
