We had 7 adults and 2 little ones 2 yrs old and under. The kitchen had mostly what we needed to cook meals and to clean. The beds were really comfortable. The scenery was very beautiful and a family of deer would visit everyday and were not too scared of you. There were a lot of food options and shopping and activities near by in Fraser, Granby and Winter Park. Safeway is in Fraser for all your food needs. We loved staying in this mountain home! BEAUTIFUL views from the huge deck! The house was very clean and we could tell renovations were recently done (tastefully decorated as well). Only a 5 minute drive from the house to the highway. Lots of restaurant options in Winter Park, Fraser and Grandby. The owner was very nice. The chalet had everything we needed plus games too! It was so nice and cozy and extremely clean! Decorated beautifully. So close to everything we wanted to do but we definitely had privacy like we were the only cabin around. We loved the hot tub and the couch was super cozy! The cabinets were stocked so well. Stayed at this property near Grandby, CO for 4 days and was a great place to stay. Very spacious for our group of 3 but could fit 6-8 comfortable. Has a huge deck and equally as big hot tub that worked perfect with an amazing view. This place is located in a private neighborhood right outside of town but only 10 min to local food, gas & shopping so not to far from supplies. Only a 1hr 30 from Denver with a great drive with great views and trails near by. Thank you for a great Place ##### Branden L. We couldn’t have picked a better winter wonderland home for our 10th anniversary! The location was perfect, nestled in the woods on a hillside with the most amazing views. The pictures online do not give proper justice to how incredible the views and house are. Although you have everything you need and more to have all your meals there we chose to go out quite a bit and found great options within 5-15 minutes both north and south of the house. Great location, great views, private, close to Winter Park and Grandby, shops, food and amenities are very close to the property. The second night we were there, the area had lots of snow that fell. We are guest in this home, are very unfamiliar with the roads, ice and extremely icy conditions. To be fair, there is a rule at the house that you must take the trash in your car about 2 miles to the dump from the house. We left the trash out (absolutely against policy we later found) due to bears. So, we received a phone call and a text message that we needed to take the trash to the dump. Again, this is all in a really, really bad storm. We then get another text advising us from the owner that we 'needed' to take the trash out. There was zero regard for our safety and even a thought that we could take the trash later after the storms let up. Because we believe in treating everyones property as though it is our own, and to follow the rules, we reluctantly took the trash to the dump as we knew that we were being monitored by 1 of the 4 cameras on the outside of the house monitoring. Not one, but two cars are now stuck in ditches wherein we had to get the community snow plower to assist us in getting our cars out. The same night, my family had set up a surprise for me to have my god daughter and her friend and boyfriend come out to visit since they lived in Denver. Again, this was a total surprise and my wife and I were not aware that they were coming. All of the sudden we get another text message from the owners telling us that we needed to pay additional fees if the guest will be staying. Again, that is the rule and we have no problems adhering to it. Once we received the 3rd text message (friendly reminder) that we needed to pay it was beginning to get a little annoying that we felt as though our every single move was being watched. My wife and I stayed one day, cleaned off the entire deck-with about 18"-24" of snow on the deck. Not one mention or even a thank you that we cleaned their entire deck (after the storm) from the owners but they were immediate to tell us that we needed to close the hot tub lid after we intentionally left it opened because of a bad sewer like water smell. How did they see that so quickly? Big Brother House! The inside of the property was dirty under beds, couches, closets, washer rooms and there is ZERO water pressure at all in this house.
