Walk everywhere in the adorable village of Suttons Bay.

  • Private studio - Adorable! Perfect for one or two people. Double French Doors open onto a little unpaved private road featuring your own outdoor sitting area for relaxing with a good book and your favorite beverage or dining al fresco next to a little flower garden. Our neighbors on both sides also supply lovely flower gardens - so good of them! This unit has a small kitchenette, the bath features a tiled shower, a queen bed as well as a fold out sleeper couch if needed.
    You are tucked into the charming village of Suttons Bay just a minutes walk from shopping, dining, the beach, the Tart Trail and located in the center of Leelanau County.
    Leelanau is home to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park, Leland Historic Fishtown, and many trails for hiking, biking and exploring. Golf courses are in good supply and the county boasts over 25 wineries to visit and taste local wines. Traverse City is 18 miles away if you crave a little more action. The dining scene there is vast and diverse.

A beautiful studio apartment tucked away yet within easy walking distance to all that Suttons Bay has to offer. The location is perfect — close to the wineries and just a quick drive to visit charming Fishtown. It was exactly what we needed for some R&R.We would have given 5 stars, but unfortunately, there was a dog in the owners unit that barked nonstop as we tried to relax. It made for a disappointing time spent at the apartment, even though everything else was wonderful.

Nice studio apartment very close to downtown Suttons Bay

We loved the proximity of the apartment to all the restaurants and shops. Also very easy drive to Leland and all of the area wineries. Nice secluded area off the alley behind the st Mary’s street. Would definitely stay here again!

Get Away on Grand Traverse Bay

A Gem in Suttons Bay

The guest house in Sutton's Bay is lovely and the host was superb! The property was very clean and well supplied with towels, glassware, coffee pot/Keurig, etc. Very welcoming unit! We have been visiting the Leelanau Peninsula for over 30 years and used this guest house as our home base.

Centrally located Buzzard’s Roost

The Buzzard’s Roost was centrally located to all the areas we wanted to visit from Northport, Leland, Suttons Bay to Traverse City. We visited the area to rock hound and celebrate our 26th anniversary. I was especially pleased that we were only a short drive to Leland. Parking directions were spot on and check in was a breeze. Perfect size for two people that needed a place to rest at night!
