The king sized bed was comfortable, the bathroom with large and clean, and the room was also large. My only suggestion would be to have coffee/tea available in the room. The owners re very friendly and nice. The place is very clean and is comfortable to stay in. My 5-yr old son loved our room that we treated it like our own home. We will definitely come back and stay in this same place every time we go to BC. The host was nice and pleasant. We didn’t use the kitchen or have breakfast or coffee in the morning since we were pressed for time but it was available. I had hoped for a coffee pot in the room but only a kettle and nothing else. Didn’t even have a TV. The bed was clean and very comfortable but the overall cleaning of the room could be better. There was still hair and dirt in the tub and the lower shelf was super dusty. Also water was not hot enough. Some water damage in room and unfinished plaster/ trim. Otherwise a very nice room in a beautiful house. Rooms are not soundproof so we were woke every morning at 7am to cooking and movement downstairs. Wonderful breakfast included. The only suggestions I have are: our bathroom did not have a door that locked. This should be added. Also, extremely hard mattress---very difficult for my wife and we had minor backaches as a result. Other than that, we loved our stay at this fine B and B. Comfortable, nice hosts, good breaky Last minute choice because hotels were booked up. So glad we chose this B&B in the Morgan Creek area. If you don't know the area, Morgan Creek is an upscale neighborhood with lovely homes and quiet streets. We had stopped for dinner & booked on the fly: and yet the host (Island) responded quickly with a welcome note & instructions on where to park. When we arrived, given a nice welcome, quickly shown our room on the lower level. We were encouraged to use the common areas down stairs or the kitchen upstairs. As it happened, we didn't need either, but nice to have those options. Asked what we liked for breakfast and when we'd like it. Promptly at 7:30 got a very nice hot breakfast served upstairs.
