Sunshine Village Gondola

Great place

We stayed at the property for 5 days recently, and overall we had an excellent stay, although this property is bit old, but the hotel was kept clean, and the staff were super nice and helpful, the studio room we stayed in had a kitchen, which was nice since we did some cooking there, like a little breakfast, and there is laundry on site, definitely a plus for longer stays Hotel also offered free bear sprays for guests, a very nice touch, we will definitely consider going back again if we decided to visit the banff/canmore area in the future.

The covering on the table chairs were terrible almost worn out and torn. It was supposed to be non smoking unit but I discovered an ashtray with cigarettes on the deck. Smelled so bad of cigarette smoke which made the stay unpleasant. When I mentioned to the host they said it was non smoking not good for a person with asthma. A smell of cigarette smoke filled the condo. For the price we paid which was high I was very displeased with the condo stench. The stove top was stained . I would never recommend this unit.
