Hotel Tia Maria is mostly for your organised guests which is fine. Very nice and helpful reception stuff. The hotel has its best time gone but it is still decent place to stay. Good breakfast. Better then expected. We had few small issues which didn’t affect our stay however one major thing happened which ruined completely our perception of Tia Maria. Small bits were - a leak behind a toilet every time you flashed it, towels with a massive holes in it (mind you all towels were bright white and washed - just some pretty old). We only slept there one night. Once we check out and moved to the next destination my friend noticed that ÂŁ100 and 200BGN were missing from her purse. We only left a room that day for two hours to go to the beach and staff were clearly aware where we gone and how long for as we told a cleaner lady. It is sad to know that some of Tia Maria employers take advantage and steal from guests. So if you decide to stay there watch out. Next day i was given a room in the lux part of the hotel - which is very basic and my room was on the first floor on the busy main road of Sunny beach where was very noisy. Mkt gamla möbler, rĂ€tt slitet. Duschen fanns egentligen inte. Det Ă€r en toalett som har en duschslang. SĂ„ man duschar vid WC-stolen och allt blir blött. Rummen sopades ej under vĂ„r vistelse. Bad om att byta handdukar sĂ„ det fixades en gĂ„ng. Maten var fruktansvĂ€rd. Hade frukost och middag inkluderat i bokningen. Åt dĂ€r en gĂ„ng bara. VĂ€ldigt billig mat, grönsaker ur konserver, pasta och pommes torra. KĂ€ndes som "grismat". Vi Ă„t ute varje dag och det Ă€r mycket godare mat ute!!! Det som var positivt var att det var lugnt pĂ„ lĂ€genhetsdelen - inga högljuda fester etc. Vi hade tvĂ„ smĂ„ barn med oss. Och nĂ€stan alltid fritt vid poolen som Ă€r vid lĂ€genheterna. Their is absolutely nothing nice I can say about this hotel. There is no management/staff etiquette whatsoever. You have no idea who actually works at this hotel there is simply no dress code for any staff members including Manager/ Reception/Bar Staff/Kitchen Staff. There is no health or hygiene policies in place at this hotel. Kitchen staff are walking in and out of the kitchen wearing shorts and vests, (and on one occasion one male staff member came out of the kitchen carrying food wearing bare chest and flip flops on his feet. Made my stomach churn. They have a complaints/compliments book in the hotel and we are feelings known in the book also. Our rooms were missing light bulbs, the fridge wasn't working and the hairdresser on the website it said iron/ironing board supplied neither of these were available. Bedding changed once a week and towels changed every 3 days. Mattresses on beds were in terrible condition heavily stained. We went all inclusive, but it definitely wasnt all inclusive as I know it, it was set meal times with ice creams only available between 3 - 5pm, there was no beer available for the first 3 days we were there and so many different excuses as to why. The food was abysmal !!. Only ever served chicken or pork and everything was cold. We ended up eating out so all inclusive was just an utter waste of money. Got tired of complaining!!! Luokattoman huono kokemus puolihoidolla. Lapsille tĂ€rkeimmĂ€t kriteerit valintaan uima-allas, wifi, ilmastointi ja parveke. Uima-allas ok mutta epĂ€siistit huoneet. Ekassa ilmastointi rikki, muutto toiseen. Toisessa huoneessa jopa ihkaoikeassa homeessa tyynyt, kivikovat patjat, ei parveketta, huono wifi, pieni wc jossa suihku wc-istuimen pÀÀllĂ€, paperit ja pesuaineet sai anella. Kohtuullisen aamiaisen ja illallisen pilasi vĂ€kijoukon kaaos ja ruuat loppu nopeasti. Ylibuukattu hostelli hotellin hinnalla. Allt annat var dĂ„ligt. Vi fick ett extra sĂ€ng för barnet men det gick inte att sova i . Smal och obekvĂ€m och vek sig sĂ„ fort man satte sig pĂ„ sĂ„ alla tre sov pĂ„ dubbel sĂ€ngen som var 2 st Singel och den dom sov i mitten hade ont i ryggen pĂ„ morgonen. Samma TrĂ„kig frukost varje dag. Kaos i den lilla restaurangen. Solstolar var bokade redan innan frukost sĂ„ nĂ€r vi var i restaurang vid 9 tiden sĂ„ alla solstolarna var bokade med handdukar av folk dom kom vid 11 eller 12 tiden sĂ„ vi var tvungna att gĂ„ till stranden varje dag. Torra personal. Folk skrek och sparkade pĂ„ dörrar mitt pĂ„ natt och ingen kom och sade nĂ„t.
