Nice hotel close to everything at Sun Peaks

Posted 01-Aug-2016
Enjoyed our stay overall. Lots of underground parking. Excellent meal at hotel restaurant. Although we appreciated the "green" initiative, we were disappointed with the lack of water pressure in the shower and the low flow shower head. The ceiling fan we found necessary but very noisy.

heading home

Lodging was fine. Small room, clean. No air conditioning. Quaint ski town, so pretty. We enjoyed our one night stay. Place was a little long in the tooth, but the history of Nancy Greene was fun to learn!

Hotel Rooms have no air-conditioning.

Posted 31-Jul-2016
Pros: Nothing in particular except the location is good.
Cons: To market the hotel rooms during summer, rooms need to be air conditioned, I understand this is a skiresort, however comfort shouldn't be compromised
Location: Nothing in particular.
Room booked through Expedia. The agent was unable provide detail information and took a while before the transaction could be completed. Had to pay the room rent upfront before i could get a confirmation. No option of pay later at the front desk. Pet charges are exorbitant. Check-in time mentions after 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am. Basically you pay full room tariff for 19 hours Hotel Rooms have no Air-Conditioning. Front desk asked me to keep the windows open and provided us with pedestal fans.Very uncomfortable, could not sleep all night. Front desk demanded the card keys back at check out, otherwise will be charged along with the bill with the pretext that is because of environmental reasons. What is the information recorded on the key card, can anyone of the management staff answer this for me please?

Hi Jyoti, I'm sorry you had such a hard time making your reservation through Expedia. Expedia does take your payment at the time of booking. The room keys are encoded with room numbers and the checkout dates. When customers check out and return the room keys, the keys are used again for the next guests staying in the hotel. It was great meeting and talking to you, your daughter and her Great Dane, Diesel on Saturday morning.

Clean and comfortable

Posted 28-Jul-2016
Pros: Great views and good service.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: This hotel is an the cozy Sun Peaks village. The area has lots to do near by. Skiing and Golfing are the main attractions.
The staff were very pleasant, and the hotel room was clean and in good condition. The HVAC System was quiet and effective.

Great hotel near the ski hill

I went to Foam Fest 2016 with a co-worker. We were extremely happy with the location of the hotel to the event (two minute walk). The room we had was equipped with everything we needed and had two queen sized beds. Awesome! The staff was great and really helpful.

Great location, clean

Posted 07-Jun-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: mattress and shower head
Location: nice hiking, mountain biking
The hotel is located right in the village of Sun Peaks. We really enjoyed staying there during the first week of June. There wasn't much going on, but you could tell they were gearing up for a fun summer. The hotel was great, but our room had a murphy bed with a very uncomfortable mattress.

Came up for a family weekend (skiing with my parents, partner and toddler). Beautiful weather, 3rd time staying at this hotel. The fan didn't work in the bathroom though.

On the slopes

Terrible experience at restaurant, went for breakfast, the waiter did not see us come in and was swearing and cursing at something. When he saw us he sat us down and we asked for a Menue nine available but whatever we wanted. So we left did not feel good about being there. The Hotel staff was good. Did ask for needle repair kit and did not have any.
