Ok, nothing exciting about hotel

Posted 02-Oct-2017
Room was ok. Back room, lower level, fairly dark room. Came here 17 years ago, nothing's changed. Could do with new furniture? Comfortable though.

Cons: clean sinks and tubs so they drain properly
Had an issue with Hotel and Expedia double booking, not a big deal as it was my fault. If it wasn't for the lack of empathy the hotel had I would probably just tell the front desk about the slow draining sink that let toothpaste float and the tub that also drained slow so you stood in water

An enjoyable family stay

Posted 24-Aug-2017
Located in a cute ski village with several places to eat, enjoy coffee, etc. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the location and the hotel was nothing fancy but decent. We'd happily come back.

Not my cup of tea

Dated resorts with horrible smell. Our bed sheets had dried blood on them. Staff were friendly

Expected more

Posted 27-Jun-2017
Everything is very old. Okay for a week stay in the winter as a ski trip but in the summer don't bother staying. We were planning next year's ski trip at Sun Peaks and thought staying one night would be informative. So in summer better to just drive up and visit.

We were upgraded to a beautiful 1 bedroom with kitchen unit, that had a hillside view. Amazing staff. Will stay here again.

Welcoming hotel in a fabulous spot

Posted 29-Apr-2017
I first stayed in Sun Peaks more than 15 years ago. While the staff are different, their sense of hospitality is the same. The hotel is close to everything in the village, has easy access to the main road, ski hill and the great outdoors. The restaurant is cozy and serves really good food. Turkey club and roasted tomato soup was excellent.

SPring Ski Vacation

Posted 05-Apr-2017
Pros: Convenient to the slopes
Cons: Additional coffee packages in the rooms.
Location: Sun Peaks municipality is quiet and easy to get around. The atmosphere is very family oriented as well
A weekend of springing skiing with two friends. Easy drive to the resort and easy access to all the winter activities.
