Staff were friendly and helpful - spoke Japanese to them and they replied in Japanese (unlike others who want to try practicing their English with foreigners). Within walking distance to Dōtonbori and Amemura, but itself situated on a quieter road. Easy to get to train stations nearby. Bed had a comfy mattress. Free refills of tea and coffee left in our room every day. The room itself was a bit cramped though, with no space under the bed to store luggage.

Large hotel room. Clean. Lots of room. Great shower. You can hear people walking around in the room above. The floor was paper thin and you could hear every step. Had to re-wash clothing after using the washing machine. It left everything very musty smelling, could use a cleaning cycle. The location was 15-20 minutes walk to train station, shopping, tourist stuff.

We paid $270 per night for this hotel. We were given the only room on the entrance floor of the hotel. So all we could hear was everyone coming in and out of the hotel, the lockers being opened up to place ones shoes in in the foyer, the cars on the road (our window was on the street). This was such a fun hotel! You could fish right on site and eat what you caught for dinner. The kaiseki was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
