The staff was kind and helpful, and the location is excellent--just a short walk from the port and the bus station, with plenty of options for restaurants, and a grocery store and a Lawsons close by. The hotel was in excellent condition, nicely decorated, clean, cool, and well stocked. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lounge area were much appreciated, and though we didn't use it, the little kitchenette there would have come in handy had we needed a microwave. The frig in the room and potto with instant coffee and tea was also appreciated. The lack of onsite restaurant and a common area to cook and eat in made for a relaxed feel which was a pleasant change from other more hectic hotels we had stayed in before this one. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed about the local area. One thing to note is that the hotel cannot currently arrange luggage forwarding to your next hotel.
