The IKEA suite.

Posted 09-Apr-2016
It's unfortunate that the owner of this residence was allowed to decorate this residence with furniture from Ikea; very minimalistic (which I don't mind) but cheap. Refrigerator is on its last leg as it was coughing hacking the entire time I was in residence. Also no access to fitness center within walking distance is unacceptable for lodging in what is supposed to be a world class village. River Run is looking worn and tired and this building in particular (public areas); not well maintained/kept.

Decent hotel close to the lifts.

Decent hotel, walking distance to lift and villages. Check in process is very cumbersome and confusing. Furniture is very dated.

Conveniently located

Pros: Proximity to lift
Nice condo near River Run base area. Would definitely come back, but would get the studio to be closer to elevator.

Perfect location, short walk to slopes

Posted 28-Feb-2016
Loved our stay at River run. The convenience of being able to walk to the slopes was awesome, they even had a free ski check during the day so you didn't have to carry your stuff to the room! We had great service! Small complaints would be the lighting in our room was terrible, very dark, no pizza cutter or hot pads(otherwise the kitchen was well stocked). All in all I was happy with my stay and would stay there again!

The room wa so noicy and dirty Room cleaning and assess to service facility was horrible. Even the front desk personnel was untrailed and not helpful. Only onething good is the ski gondola was close to assess. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone unless my enemy.

Didn't Get what we paid for

We booked through Hotels.com and requested 2 beds. We were provided a room that only had 1 when we checked into the hotel. The Bed was hard as a rock and the room was tucked away in the back, facing a parking lot. I would not book through Hotel.com again.

Disappointing...

Posted 30-Jan-2016 on Hotels
Booked a village unit at top dollar and ended up a healthy walk away from the village in a room not very well sound insulated with no coffee. The room was ready at the last minute for check in and wasn't anywhere near as nice as the dozens of other times I've stayed...

absolutely wonderful

Thanks to hotels.com for this one! This was our reward stay and couldn't be more pleased. So very close to the gondola, less than a 5 minute walk. Two great hot tubs which after a day of skiing is a must. Clean pool towels also and a great lodge with pool tables and fireplace. Then as for our condo room, it was perfect for the two of us. Very comfortable, full kitchen, regular sized coffee pot with coffee. Also room had a very nice fireplace and the Murphy bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. Only complaint would be the room actually got too warm but we kinda chalked that up to not really understand how the cooling system worked and we did know to open a window! Basically....Loved it and hotels.com!♡
