Location Location Location but....

Posted 11-Aug-2015
The main thing going for this place is Location. Other than that, the place was pretty disappointing. The rooms looked run down, dirty. The master bathroom layout was the strangest I have ever seen. The toilet so small and stuck at an angle almost impossible to use. Walls were dirty, paint chipping. No AC in the rooms and a smell of old age in the air. The mattress felt old and bumpy. Carpets dingy and old as well. Yes, it was spacious, but that is about it. We will not go back.

Great condo in Keystone

Posted 06-Jul-2015
Pros: Full kitchen and multiple bedrooms
Cons: TV reception was poor. "spotty" Some TV channels would pause or stop playing.
Location: Plenty of restaurants.
Our room was a 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen overlooking the pool area in the heart of the Keystone resort village. Friendly staff and the condo had several good restaurants within walking distance of the room.

Great room, vaulted ceilings, clean property

Posted 14-Apr-2015
The 1-bedroom condo we stayed in was excellent, it was very clean, it had vaulted ceilings, and was the perfect fit for two adults and one child. The hot tub and pool were great, and very close to the condo building with great views of Keystone Mountain.

Keystone Hotel

Posted 02-Apr-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleaning the sofa pull-out bed and putting clean sheets on it. A variety of different colors of hair, popcorn, dry skin, and something black was found
Location: Great location.
We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the sofa bed and found trash on the balcony. The location is wonderful and close to several restaurants and the slopes. If we wanted to use the pool, we would have had to go to another building next door. We had 3 hot tubs in out building. One of the staff members (Derek) was very respectful and accommodating when we wanted to move to a room away from the elevator, but when we had to leave a day early since my husband got sick, the staff member I spoke with upon check out was very short with me and quickly told me that I would not be getting a refund.

Very Disappointed and Frustrated

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Mainly the cleanliness and making sure we were away from the busses. Our room was hot and we couldn't change the heating or open the windows.
Location: There definitely was a lot to do, but we didn't get to experience it as my husband and our young grandson were feeling ill. We cancelled our plans.
We are easy to please, however I made a special point a week ahead to call River Run and talked to Shamara asking for a location away from traffic and near an elevator due to my husband having COPD breathing problems and explained that this might be the last time he can travel in the mountains. Shamara nicely set us up in The Dakota, away from the traffic and near an elevator. Upon arrival, the desk clerk said they couldn't honor special requests and although I challenged that decision, we were assigned to another condo on the street where ski buses idled all day and part of the night spewing diesel fumes. The carpet was filthy as if someone had spilled leaking trash all over the floor and it hadn't been vacuumed. We found what looked like rodent droppings on the mattress on the pull out couch. We were dismayed that our 7 year old grandson and his Mom would have to sleep there. UGH! I will say that the bathroom was clean and the kitchen was okay however the coffee pot didnt work and leaked. The blinds didn't work either and we couldn't get out of the deck door to use the deck. The deck was covered with snow and the view was minimal. I was told we would have a wonderful view from this room. However, we couldn't have used the deck to find our view anyway because of the bus fumes. When I complained about the cleanliness, we were told that all of the other rooms were taken. I feel that I should not have paid $500.00 for two nights in that facility. We left early.

So close to the Gondola

Posted 30-Mar-2015
I will never want to stay anywhere else when I snowboard in Keystone. We could see the gondola from our room and it was only a 2 minute walk to get there. No complaints other then the pull out bed being a little hard to sleep on.
