Thank you for your comments, since your stay we have purchased a new queen bed for that bedroom and are rearranging the room so as to make it comfortable for our guests as we continue to upgrade our property to service our guests. Just having this property available to guests for one year we are striving to make it accommodating to all guests and we appreciate your feedback.

Dee Jolly contacted us to rent our home and requested that we supply her with Tennis raquets and balls , which we did . My wife met her and she said her family loved the property . The whole time they stayed at the property they had our contact information . We live 2 minutes from the house and saw them on a few occasions . Not a negative comment about the accommodation, amenities or property. The other unit is in the back of the house which has a separate parking area and a private entrance that the people upstairs cannot even see from the upper part of the home . The guests of Stellar Jay Hollow have 3 balconies one in the back overtop of the entrance door to the lower one bedroom unit, a patio at the entrance to their unit entrance and another balcony off the master bedroom on the top floor. The shared area of the property is a fourth patio which has a barbeque for guest use. Reference to the camper van is my personal Brand New 34ft Motorhome which was not rented out during the stay. The unit is kept on our 1 acre property in case my Daughter and granddaughter visit and thats 0nly happened twice in 2 years for 4 days. The fact that we have another rental on the property is not a big secret, the suite is advertised online as well. In our (hosts) opinion the only legitimate complaint is that there wasn't a sufficient amount of laundry detergent provided which would have been quickly provided had this guest called us. All guests at Stellar Jay Hollow have commented on how well the kitchen is equipped so it appears the comment about the kitchen being ill-equipped by a red seal chef (host) seems unwarranted. As hosts we have no idea why there was a sudden change of opinion about this guests stay 2 weeks after leaving. We urge other potential guests of this property to read all reviews as this property is not "3" star accommodation and we feel that the negative and unfounded comments are unfair.

We enjoyed hosting the Smyth's and their family and thank them for making their stay a family event finding all amenities to their liking. We are continuing to upgrade the property grounds to ensure our guests top quality accommodation.

The Gridley's were the perfect family to host, they are very responsible guests and left the premises lovely and clean, we're glad they got a visit from the hummingbirds. We'd love to see these guests again if they have the chance to come back and visit the sunny Okanagan, we'd be happy to have them as our guests anytime and recommend them to other hosts.
