Not sure the price justifies the hotel. Just so everyone is aware the hotel is literally in the busiest part of Kyoto in the middle of all the nightlife. If you are out all day and want to relax, this is not the hotel for you. Had to ask hotel for ear plugs each night because the streets were filled with people yelling till about 4 am. I stayed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, so that had something to do with it but still would have avoided had I known.
The room was okay, average for a 4 star hotel. The bottom of the hotel is also a regularly visited area by many people who are not staying in the hotel, so it’s pretty much loud and busy all day. Overall I’d give about 3.5 out of 5, and wouldn’t recommend this to friends and family.

We loved staying here. Beds were soft and room was quite large with a sofa and small kitchen area. Washer/dryer combo in room with laundry detergent available at the front desk for no charge. Close to Glico sign and area shopping, within a 10 minute walk. Close to metro too so easy to get around. We would definitely stay here again!

The floor in the room was extremely slippery, I nearly fell quite a few times. TV could’ve been bigger. Amazing location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a couple nights. The room was spacious and comfortable. The street is quite narrow, but taxi/uber can find you. It is walking distance from Dotonbori and Namba shopping. There are many restaurants nearby. Osaka is a vibrate city. This hotel is central enough to get to many places. You will enjoy it.
