Shame rooms do not have a better view but this can not be helped. Outside does not prepare you for the wonderful room and facilities you get. The owner is very helpful. The attached bar and restaurant serves very good food.

As there was a mix up with our room we were upgraded so I can only review that. The mix up was sorted quickly and upgrade given. The room was a suite which was huge, beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and we ate at the hotel which was notable.

We chose to stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites City Views in Ballarat, mainly due to it´s convenient location to this beautiful historic town. It had a reasonable price and was was well reviewed. And we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel at first view was very basic. Just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill design. Nothing spectacular or charming as it is a fairly modern establishment. But what it lacked in charm it made up for in several other ways. The most impressive part of our short stay there...
