"The hotel overall is very good. Two small negatives. The staff at front desk could be more helpful by paying attention to guests and staying away from their cell phones while helping guests. The small fridge in my room had glass door and its light was on all night. That's not helpful for guestscwho can sleep with lights on. The breakfast and dinning area were excellent. The Turkish bath and sauna were great. The location was good, not too close to heart of the old city but not too far, about 20 minutes walk. I would recommend Holiday Inn Old City."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was comfortable, nicely decorated, and in a great location. What really stood out to us was the staff. They were exceptional, honestly the best hotel staff we have ever had. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, respectful, attentive, and always willing to help. The location was also very convenient. The tram is only about a one-minute walk away, and many of Istanbul’s main sights are within walking distance. We had a great experience overall and would happily stay here again if we return to Istanbul."
