"the shuttle is very convenient in taking your bags to the hotel before check-in so you can explore the island. The dinner in the room was one of the best meals we had. There was a night shuttle to the main area so that you can walk around for the illumination. Breakfast was perfect. Would stay again "

"The property is well-kept and clean. It's very close to the Miyajima ferry gate, the Torri gate, and the shopping streets. The hotel had everything guests needed. I liked the tatami mats on the two floors in two of the rooms, as well as the floor beds. The only thing I could have had was a couple of hooks for hanging clothes in the laundry room next to the bathroom."

"Beautiful traditional tatami hotel. You pay a huge premium for staying on Miyajima and it’s worth every penny. Lovely staff. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but found several lovely places nearby. "

"Perfectly located across the road from the Ferry (no issue with noise). Nice sized rooms, perhaps in need of a little refresh (room door did not seal very well, large gaps around the edge and bottom which meant could hear corridor noise). Buffet style dinner and breakfast was amazing, so tasty & such a good variety. Really enjoyed that the ingredients were locally sourced. Would absolutely stay here again! "

"You cannot beat the location, as it is right on the main drag and across from the water, and close to the ferry. It’s also close to shops and restaurants. The staff is very helpful, as I had misplaced an item and they were able to hold it for me. The onsen in the basement is great. The tatami mats in the room are fine, and the futons are also comfortable. The bathroom is a bit outdated, but everything works."
