Spent a week exploring the Door County area and this cozy, clean and comfortable apartment was the perfect location: it’s in a quiet neighborhood in Sturgeon Bay, which has everything you need (from Walmart to Kwik Trip to mom & pop stores) and is less than an hour drive to the very top of the peninsula. The location is within walking distance to a nice beach/park and the best dive bar in town, Greystone Castle, you’re welcome. The owner was super - the apartment was too warm for me, and within an hour of letting her know, the temp dropped to just the way I like it. She also has a great attention to detail, from the awesome variety of toiletries in the bathroom (bandaids, cotton swabs, Q-Tips, etc) to yummy snacks in the kitchen (a few different kinds of granola bars), all very much appreciated. Our dog is 55 pounds and a lot of the places we looked at had a limit on size of pet. I am really glad this place was available and even came with a playmate for Izzy. The upstairs of the home is beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed, nice full kitchen, tvs, and all other ammenities I could think of. I don't think there was anything we felt was lacking.
